Weleda Baby Care Starter Kit Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

Weleda
Weleda uses natural ingredients in their products by growing their natural ingredients in biodynamic gardens.  It started back in 1921.  The body heals by itself naturally but sometimes it needs a little help so what better way than products with natural ingredients?  I love using natural products for myself and my family.  Weleda sent me one of their Baby Starter Kits to try and review.  I was more than happy to!  Weleda has been in American Baby Magazine and other news.

The kit includes Calendula Baby Cream, Calendula Lotion, Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash, Calendula Oil, and Calendula Diaper Care.  These are all travel size products that come in a zippered travel bag that is great for traveling or just to take with you anywhere.  It’s also great for overnight visits as well and has everything that baby will need.
The Baby Cream is a thick cream that will help heal and protect rough dry skin.  Our little guy actually has a rough patch of skin on one of his legs.  There isn’t anything there that you can see but you can feel it.  We really don’t know exactly what it is but the strange thing is, his older brother has the same spot on the same leg.  I think it’s pretty weird.  I have used the Baby Cream on both my son’s and the rough patch seems to be not as noticeable.  It has made those patches a little softer.  The cream makes their skin feel soft without feeling greasy or sticky and it is absorbed into skin really quickly and easily.
The Lotion comes in a bottle and it’s actually kind of runny.  In a way it reminds me of a sunblock lotion.  It is also absorbed into the skin really easily too.  It leaves my little guy’s skin feeling really soft without leaving a sticky or greasy feeling too.  The Baby Wash and Shampoo is really nice.  I love that it leaves his hair feeling soft, shiny and clean.  I love the way that it lathers.  It’s not too much and it’s not too little.  This too also leaves his skin soft and moisturizes when we use it in the bath.
I haven’t used the Baby Oil that much.  The baby oil is good for locking in moisture without locking in too much.  I mainly use Baby Oil on his head to losen up the craddle cap on his scalp.  I honestly think that this Baby Oil works better for that than any other Baby Oil we have used for that purpose.  Last but not least is the Diaper Care.  This is a great diaper rash cream that goes smoothly and easily which is great when applying something to a rash.  I have used other creams that were too thick making applying take too long.  With this cream, it’s a fast and easy process that smooths over skin really well.  It really does take care of diaper rashes pretty quickly.  I noticed a difference in only a few hours after applying it!
“100% certified natural baby care products made with Biodynamic and organic calendula, free of synthetic fragrances, colors, preservatives and raw materials derived from mineral oils, products and ingredients not tested on animals, safe and gentle for delicate skin, dermatologist tested.”
All the products smell pretty much the same.  It has a light scent that doesn’t linger long and it’s a clean scent and almost flowery.  I think this is a great product and they are great natural products for baby and even for yourself!
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
