has been making classroom furniture and children’s furniture for 45 years. They are known for crafting safe, durable, and long lasting products. I was very fortunate to be able to work with Guide Craft
to review some of their products. A lot of you may have read my Noah’s Ark Toy Box review. This time, you get to read about Guide Craft’s adorable Noah’s Ark Book Display
that they sent me for review which come from their Noah’s Ark Collection
First I will say that the Noah’s Ark Book Display
was packaged with a lot of care. It was packaged in a way that the pieces wouldn’t move during shipping which is great because this prevented any kind of scratching during the shipping process. The assembly was really simple. There were only four parts to the book display!
To start, we screwed one of the side panels to the base part of the display. There was a canvas type piece that made up the levels of the display (or shelves if you want to call them that). The canvas piece had poles already through it making even sections in it. After we had one of side side panels attached to the base, we began to screw in each of the poles to the side of the panel. There are holes on the inside from the top to the bottom and when you place the poles in place, they make slings in the canvas which works as your display shelves.
After we had all the poles in place on the one side, we screwed in the other panel on the other side to the base and then we slid the poles into place. After they were in place, we screwed in the poles on that side. They slid in place perfectly.
Below is what it looked like after it was completely put together. The Noah’s Ark art on the side matches the toy box that we received. It really cute and I love the paint on it. Like the toy box, this paint is also durable and we haven’t had any chipping. I love the art on the book display because also like the toy box, the picture just isn’t painted on. The picture is actually raised in the wood. I think it’s really adorable! It’s just really beautiful and the detail is just amazing!
After it was put together which literally only took about 20 minutes, we filled it with our books! Our kids have tons of books and they were stacked up in the area where our book display is. It was a constant mess with them being knocked over all the time. I like this book display much better than a regular book shelf. This book display is less likely for a child to climb and it isn’t tall either. It really sturdy and because of the way it’s crafted and the size, it’s not as likely to fall over on your kid either. There isn’t any small parts on it that could come off causing a choking hazzard.
There is ample room for my kids’ books. I have about 15 books in each level and could probably put about 5 more in each one. The books we have in the book display are all about the size of a Dr. Seuss book. Some of them are really thin paperback books too but I was still surprised by how many books we have on there. There is a little space at the bottom under the bottom sling where I placed a few of my kids’ taller books.
Our kids love it because they don’t have to look through a large stack of books anymore. They also love how the books sit in the display because it makes it easier to choose a book when they can see the covers. Our four year old calls it his library because in the kids section for his age at our library, they have book displays rather than bookshelves.
has done it again with a very well made, safe, sturdy and beautiful product! This is another wonderful piece of children’s furniture and in my opinion, the best we have had.
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
