Dapple Toy Cleaner and Dish Liquid Review

I have always wondered about some cleaning products when I clean or wash baby bottles with dish liquid, if they can leave something behind that could be harmful.  I haven’t really thought about it in a while until a few months ago when our little guy (9 months old) started getting into playing with toys and now puts everything in his mouth.
This is the same reason Dapple was born.  Dapple products are natural cleaners that came about by two moms that had the same thoughts when using cleaning products.  There are baby safe products for bath time and laundry detergent and so forth but what about the things we use to clean things that baby puts in their mouths?  Babies put everything in their mouths such as dishes, bottles, toys, you know the drill.  They developed products that cleans everyday messes that are safe for baby.  Dapple products are natural baby products made with all natural ingredients, are environmentally safe, biodegradable, and free of parabens, SLES, and phthalates, as well as synthetic dyes or fragrances.  They do not test on animals either.
I was given the opportunity to work with Dapple on a review and was sent a bottle of their Dapple Toy and Surface Cleaner Spray and a travel size of Dapple Dish Liquid.  After using these wonderful organic baby products, I feel much better about cleaning everything my little guy touches or puts in his mouth – or even what my other kids touch for that matter!
The Dapple Toy and Surface Cleaner Spray is not an anti-bacterial.  This is so that babies can build up their own immunities and still play with clean objects or sit in a clean highchair and so forth.  It works like a thorough soap and water cleaning but I happen to think it works a little better than just soap and water.  I actually thought it cleaned better than soap and water does without leaving a film or anything.  I never use any kind of cleaner on our little man’s high chair especially his tray.  This is one thing that I have never done.
Because of this, sometimes cleaning off a tray can be a little difficult when you are only using a wet wash cloth.  Dapple Toy and Surface Cleaner works really well for that!  I have also used it on my dining room table – another place I am leary about using any cleaner unless it happens to be a natural cleaner.  Eating off of something that has been used with chemical cleaners is not really on the top of my list.  I found that it also works great on plush or stuffed toys as well!
I never did like putting baby bottles in the dishwasher.  I always wash them myself because no matter what kind of dish washer detergent I have used, they always came out with some kind of film over them.  That really can’t be good right?  I know it didn’t come from my water.  If it’s a film due to dish detergent, what’s actually in that film?  That’s why I wash them myself.  Dapple Dish Liquid removes milk, formula, and other baby foods safely.  Dapple claims that it is perfect for baby bottles which I have to agree with.  The travel size is also great to carry with you for traveling!
I would sometimes have to rinse and rinse bottles until all the suds were gone.  Sometimes I would think they were gone but they weren’t.  I have made bottles before that made suds like crazy when I shook up the formula and I got a whiff of the dish soap so I knew then that there was no way that all those suds could have been rinsed out even though they looked like they were.  I don’t have to worry about that at all with Dapple Dish Liquid.  It works great and I haven’t had a problem like that every time I used it.  It also cleans really well and we also have some bottles that have a circle of film around the inside of the bottles that I am assuming got there from washing them.  I have to scrub and scrub with a bottle brush which can actually be pretty tiring.  After I got the film completely cleaned from the bottles, that problem didn’t return while using Dapple
I absolutely love Dapple natural cleaners!  They are safe, clean well and are great natural baby products to fit your cleaning needs!  Dapple also supports a lot of great Causes and Charities as well.

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
