I came across a great place to buy really great green school supplies
! ReBinder is that place! There are tons of toxic PVC ending up in our landfills from vinyl binders that a lot of people use. ReBinder provides a lot of great office and school products that are made of all recycled materials and are also recyclable. I was thrilled to receive the opportunity to work with ReBinder
on a review and I was sent a back to school kit filled with some of their wonderful products for my use and review.
Included in the kit was a ReBinder (1.5 inch binder) along with two extra binder covers in case it needs to be replaced. I also received RePocket Recycled Folders, RePouch Slash Pockets, two of their ReWrite 5×8 Notebooks, four of their ReWrite 8×10 Notebooks, ReSleeves, and some of their RePlays.
is totally awesome! It’s a three ring binder and it is very durable! It comes in a variety of sizes and styles too. My ReBinder Original is plain and is made of recycled corrugated cardboard. It can hold up to 313 pages (standard size paper). The three ring mechanism is held onto the binder cover with two screws. If you need to replace your binder cover for whatever reason, you can easily remove the three ring mechanism and use it in a new binder cover that ReBinder offers. This means that the metal ring mechanism does not need to be thrown out and can be used over and over again. Just recycle your cover and not throw out your whole binder! I absolutely love this idea. I haven’t had to replace my cover though. Like I said, the ReBinder really is durable and sturdy.
The RePouch Slash Pockets
can be purchased with or without holes. They have a slash pocket and can hold a decent size report or presentation – I would say about as thick as a standard magazine. I love them because I use my ReBinder a lot and there are some things that I don’t want to hole punch so I use my RePouch Slash Pockets. The RePouches that I received have the holes so that they can be used in the binder. The other thing that is great about them is that there is a pocket for a CD or disc and a place to hold a business card. You can also do what I do and use that business card holder to insert a piece of index card to label what I keep inside of it. These pouches are also thick and pretty durable too.
I usually don’t use those plastic cases for CD’s or discs. In fact, we don’t even buy blank discs that come in plastic or jeweled cases. We just feel this is a waste and it’s more economical to just buy a stack of blank CD’s or discs. That means we have quite a few CD’s that aren’t in any cases and I have a few discs hanging around my desk. The ReSleeve
are great for keeping them safe and keeping me organized. The RePlay holds two CD’s that folds up like a book while the ReSleeve holds one CD. You can get them with or without the viewable front. These are also very sturdy and I was really impressed with that! Given how well they are made, they can definitely be used over and over again!
RePocket Recycled Folder
is a two pocket folder and the pockets even have a place to insert a business card as well. They can hold approximately 30 sheets of paper in each pocket. The plain recycled look gives them a professional look for the office and they are great for kids going back to school because they can draw or add their own artwork to them! I have bought regular two pocket folders that you would find at any store for years. It never fails that I would have to buy more for our daughter every few months because they get torn or what-not. The RePocket is a bit more sturdy in my opinion. They do last a bit longer than other folders that I have used and I found them to be a lot more substainable. They can stand up to my daughter tossing them in her backpack very well!
The ReWrite Notebooks
come in two sizes. You can purchase them in either 5×7 size or and 8×10 size. They also come with blank paper, lined paper, or graph paper. We received two 8×10’s with lined paper, two 8×10’s with graph paper, and two 5×7 with blank paper. The plain covers are also nice for kids to color or draw their own designs and they also look professional with their plain color. Not only are the covers made from recycled materials, so is the paper. I don’t think I have ever seen recycled paper look as bright white as this paper does. The ink on the lined or graph paper are made from soy inks as well. I really enjoy writing on this paper too! Our daughter doesn’t have any problems erasing pencil marks either!
products are absolutely amazing. They are all durable, functional, reliable, and are made with excellent quality! The best part is, they are made of recycled materials and can be recycled again!
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
