{Holiday Gift Guide} ChicoBag Holiday Bag Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

As most of you know, I love reusable bags.  I use them all the time and ChicoBag offers a lot of great ones from shopping bags to bags for everyday use!  ChicoBag also has really cute holiday bags and they even come up with a way to actually use them for gift wrap instead of using wrapping paper!  More than five million tons of wrapping paper is thrown away each year just during the holiday season.  That’s a crazy amount which is why I mostly use gift bags instead of wrapping paper (for any kind of gift) because I keep them and re-use them over and over again.  I even have a couple birthday gift bags that I have used for all my kids’ birthdays for about 4 or 5 years!

ChicoBag Holiday Bag comes in three colors.  There is red, green, and blue and they all have an adorable snow scene with a snowman that has lost his hat standing next to a snow covered tree.  I think they are really cute – I know, I said that a couple times!

The bag makes for a wonderful shopping bag or even for any other use.  I know I’m taking mine with me to my mom’s this Christmas that way I can tag along some of my gifts inside.  It’s a decent size bag and I love that I doesn’t have a definite shape to it.  This allows me to be able to carry quite a few things in it.  It can hold up to a whopping 40 pounds and it’s definitely made really well!  It measures 19 inches by 15 and a half inches, the carrying handles are really durable and the large size is perfect for shopping or anything you want to use it for.
There is a small drawstring pouch on the inside which is great for storing your small items so that you don’t have to rummage around in the bag to find them.  This pouch also works as a carrying pouch for the whole bag.  Yep, you can stuff the whole bag inside this little pouch for easy carrying!
When you turn the pouch inside out, you will see a small happy snowman on the front of it!  Just keep stuffing the bag inside (it’s really, really easy), pull the drawsting closed and now you have a compact bag that you can take anywhere!  There is even a clip on the side so you can either toss it in your purse or clip it to just about anything.  The size is only about the size of my palm!

To save on wasted wrapping paper, you can use these bags to wrap your gifts.  You can actually use a lot of different ChicoBags, they don’t neccessarily have to be these particular ones.  Below is a video from ChicoBag of a How To with their bags.  I think it’s a great idea!

 

Most importantly, there isn’t any wasted paper and you can easily turn an inexpensive gift into something amazing because the gift wrapping can be part of the gift.  You can also add another bag or two in their pouches as part of the wrapping as shown in the video.  I think it would make a great gift this holiday!
