I ALWAYS send out holiday cards to our family and friends every year. I usually include wallet size pictures of us and the kids inside them. I received a wonderful opportunity to work with Mixbook on a review and was thrilled to have the chance! I’m telling you what, if you are looking for a great place to order photo holiday cards, you should definitely check out Mixbook and give them a try! They also have cards for all kind of occasions and also offer other great photo products such as photo books and calendars! I received a gift code to choose my own set of 30 (5×7) Flat Holiday Cards for my review.
It was so easy too! The only hard part was choosing the template that I wanted to use as they have so many to choose from! You can even start from scratch! All of the templates are customizable too. I finally settled on the Textured Tidings template because it offers 4 places of different sizes for adding your favorite pictures on the front. The middle is separated with a box where you can enter your own personalized message which I absolutely adore. The Flat Cards are not folded. They just have a front and a back. On the back of this template, you can also add another photo on the back too. In the picture below, you can see how my photo holiday cards turned out – beautifully I might add!
Mixbook makes creating your cards so easy it only took me about 10 minutes, if that. Once you choose your template, it will take you to the editor to allow you to add your photos, change the background color (lots to choose from), add text or stickers, and you can even change the layout if you choose. All you have to do is upload the pictures you want to use and drag and drop in place. You can adjust your pictures on the template too but I didn’t really have to do much of that because they pretty much automatically fit and sentered on their own even though there were different size areas for my photos. You just click on the different areas such as the background for the background choices to come up if you want to change it, the tools are all right there to use if you want to add your own text somewhere, and you can also switch the view to the back side of the card so you can customize the back too!
We have received quite a few photo cards from others around the holidays and there have been a couple times in the past that I have ordered some from some other place (generally speaking) and they have all been printed on regular photo paper or something very similar to that. It’s not really something I prefer which is another reason why I love Mixbook. Other places don’t seem to be as customizable either (at least the places that I have ordered them in the past). I was surprised and very pleased when my cards arrived because they actually look and feel like CARDS! They are also very durable too so it isn’t anything different than putting regular holiday cards in an envelope to mail them out. I don’t have to worry about them getting bent up or anything in the delivery process!
The envelopes are included too! I just can’t get over how great they look! My photos are crisp and even though they are more like an actual card and not a “photo”, I didn’t even realize it until I opened them up! The cards appear to look like they have a matte-like finish too and fingerprints are never left on them. I will be keeping one of my Holiday Cards for myself when the time comes to mail them all out because this is one card that I will be putting in a frame! I highly recommend Mixbook for photo holiday cards! It is so easy and they can be customized any way you like! Absolutely beautiful and amazing quality!!
On another note, Mixbook saves your projects so that you can come back to them later when you sign back into your account!
Buy It: Visit Mixbook to create and purchase your holiday cards or cards for another occassion! The set of 30 that I ordered came to around $21 before shipping. Shipping costs do vary depending on your shipping choice.
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
