So what was in my May 2017 box? Well, let me tell you!

Prince of Peace 100% Natural Ginger Candy (full size) – You can buy this at GNC for $1.99 per package. There are approximately 31 pieces of individually wrapped ginger candies. I have never heard of this candy before so I was definitely interested in trying it. I have heard there are many heath benefits of adding ginger to your diet for anti inflammatory properties that ginger has and a lot of other benefits. One of the main benefits for our family is that ginger helps reduce nausea. Stomach upset happens a lot in our house being a family of 5. One of our kids will get sick and then moves from one person to the next. I actually got to test this theory out recently. I had an upset stomach myself and I ate just one piece of this candy and it helped to calm my stomach. I’m not sure how much I really like the flavor of this candy though. It’s not bad. It’s kind of sweet at first but then you really taste the ginger. It has a very, very strong ginger taste. I don’t know if ginger is an herb or spice but they taste spicy the longer you have it in your mouth. They are chewy and I do like the texture. They also get softer the longer they are in your mouth. A spicy, warming sensation is a good description for this candy. Sweet at first, then a little spicy and warm. If you like ginger, you will like these. My husband and daughter loves them.

ONA Treats Cookies and Bars (single serve full size) – This is another product I have never heard of before. These bars come in cookie and snack bar varieties. There are many different flavors to choose from. A single bar can be purchased for $2.59 or a case of 12 for $28.00. The bar I received was the Brownie Cookies and boy are they good! What I love about Ona is that they sweeten their products with honey and they have a Pollinator Partnership which I think is amazing. Educating the importance of bees is very important. Humans wouldn’t survive without them. Anyway, the Brownie Cookies were delicious. There were two cookies in a package and they were really soft. They had the texture of both cookie and brownie and tastes really good! They are also non GMO, gluten free, grain free, dairy free, and soy free.

Goviter Viter Energy Caffeinated Breath Mints (sample packet) – I received a sample packet of these. There were three mints in the packet. Serving size is one mint. The mint tablets were a little bigger than I thought they would be. I’m not sure if they really give me a boost of energy or not but they do taste really good. They have a slight sweet taste at first but they mostly have a pretty strong Wintergreen flavor (wintergreen is what I received). I do know for sure that they do freshen breath for a while. You are not supposed to exceed 5 mints per day. These are pretty awesome. I’ll have to buy myself a tin!

Swago Cologne Wipes For Men (single use packet) – You can buy a 4 pack for $4.99, a 20 pack for $19.99, and there are larger packs as well. There are four scents; VIP, Legend, Champ and Gentleman. I received VIP. I don’t know what it smells like just yet. My husband still hasn’t used it and I didn’t want to open it up and ruin it. I’ll add more of my opinion to the review after he has a chance to use it. I like the idea of these. They are a cologne wipe and they look like they would be great on the go and easy to apply.

Andalou Naturals Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream Pods (single use full size) – Andalou Naturals has a wide selection of Beauty2Go products. Meaning they are a one time use and are great to take on the go. Great for traveling or while spending a weekend away, you don’t have to carry your favorite full size products with you. Most of their Beauty2Go products are $3.69 apiece. The Hyaluronic DMAE Lift & Firm Cream makes my face feel really great. It’s supposed to help firm and lift skin and help give it a more youthful appearance. You are supposed to apply it to clean skin so I used mine after washing my face before bed. I thought it absorbed easily into my skin and it didn’t leave it feeling greasy or sticky. I thought my skin looked a little better in the morning but I think I need to use it a few more times to really see if I get any results. I definitely want to give this product a few more tries. It’s non GMO, 98% nature derived, verified gluten free, vegan, cruelty free and is travel friendly. Great to take along while traveling via airplane!

Georgia Grinders Creamy Peanut Butter (sample pouch) – A full size jar is $6.00 and after trying this peanut butter, I am going to buy some. Georgia Grinders has a variety of products that consists of very few ingredients. Their name is perfect for them because they literally grind nuts like peanuts, cashews, almonds, etc. into a creamy butter. And that’s it. Just nuts and sea salt. All their nuts are Georgia grown. The creamy peanut butter consists of only peanuts and sea salt. The peanuts are ground until they are creamy. I absolutely love this peanut butter. Absolutely amazing peanut flavor and it’s really creamy! It doesn’t have a grainy texture at all. Yum!

Tiger Balm Pain Relieving Patch (single use sample) – You can find a 5ct pack of these at stores like Walgreens and other retailers anywhere from $5 to $8. We have used Tiger Balm products before. My husband loves the salve. He says it works great for pain relief for his knee. He has tried the Pain Relieving Patch while he was at work because it’s not messy under his clothes. He says it lasted for hours like it claims to do and the patch was flexible. He didn’t have any issues with it coming off or anything. He says he thought it was cool and warm at the same time and was pretty happy with the way it worked.

Volo Vitamins Energy Stickpacks (2 single serve sticks) – On their website, you can get a sample pack of 4 sticks (2 of each flavor) for $3.95. You can also buy a regular 4 pack for $3.79, or a 10 pack for $7.00. They have B vitamins and amino acids and contain natural energy. They contain a lot of different vitamins and minerals that help your body recover more quickly after a workout. They are all natural and no added sugar (sugar free) and no artificial sweeteners. I don’t know about them giving me more energy but I do feel like I can get through a workout a little easier. They both taste pretty well. I do like the Berry flavor a little more than the Citrus flavor. They do have a slight after taste but it’s not bad. They taste like a flavored water which of course makes sense since you just add a stick to a bottle of water. They mix really well too.

Natralia Eczema Body Wash & Shampoo (full size) – You can purchase a full size bottle for $12.99. Because of Daily Goodie Box, this is the third Natralia product I have gotten to try. So far I love all their products. I was really happy to try Natralia Eczema Happy Little Bodies Eczema Body Wash & Shampoo because our youngest son has an eczema problem. It’s not noticeable or causing any problems most days but there are times he has flareups that do cause problems. He has spots on his legs and also has a problem with his scalp from time to time. We avoid regular soaps and shampoos for the most part because they can cause flareups on their own. This product is soap free and is non-irritating. You can use this product on hair and body and I am pleased to say that it does help manage our son’s itching, dryness and overall skin irritation. It doesn’t have any fragrances. It does have a “natural” scent to it but it is pleasant. They do have a wash for eczema and psoriasis both and I am looking into buying that one because he also has psoriasis as well. I did notice that even this wash did help a little with his psoriasis though. Definitely worth buying in my opinion.

Kicking Horse Coffee – Kick Ass Ground Coffee (full size) – You can buy a full size bag of this coffee at stores like Walmart, Target and even on Amazon for around $8 to $10. It’s recommended for a drip coffee brewer but I only have a Keurig. I do have one of those reusable k-cups so that I can use regular ground coffee. That’s how I have been making this coffee. You are supposed to use 2 Tbsp per cup. Or more if you want a really strong coffee. I haven’t had any issues making this coffee with my Keurig and the coffee brews well and tastes really good too. It’s a dark coffee and it has a little chocolate malt taste to it. Maybe even just a hint of vanilla. Sometimes I drink it black but other times I add a little cream. This coffee is ground with organic, fairtrade Arabica beans and roasted in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Tastes really good and has a wonderful aroma!

And that is my May 2017 Daily Goodie Box! I loved trying these products so I have to give a big thanks to Daily Goodie Box and all the brands for the opportunity to try them and review them. Now I will be shortly off to leave my feedback on my Daily Goodie Box dashboard. If you want to sign up for a chance to review some really great products, go sign up!
