I was really excited when I found out I would be receiving Goddess Garden Organics Natural Mineral Sunscreen Lip Balm. I have used Goddess Garden products in the past however, I have never tried this lip balm before.

About the product…

This lip balm has an SPF 30 which I happen to think is fabulous for a lip balm. It contains organic ingredients and no chemicals. It’s a natural mineral lip balm which makes me pretty happy. And the best thing about it is that it is cruelty free.

There are three different flavors. There is Lavender Mint (which is what I received), Raspberry, and Orange Vanilla.

What I thought…

This product claims that it is water resistant for 80 minutes. My experience with this product proved to me that statement is pretty accurate. Even after being in the pool with the kiddos, I could still feel it on my lips over an hour later. I like how this balm applies. It goes on really smoothly and it actually does a pretty great job at keeping my lips hydrated and moisturized. It does protect my lips really well.

I also like the feel of this balm. It doesn’t feel sticky at all. It’s so smooth and silky and I love how it feels on my lips. If I decide I want to wear lip color, I found that applying this balm before my lip color, it works great as a base. It doesn’t mess with my lip color and actually makes my lipstick/stain, etc. look great almost all day because my lips don’t get dry and crack my color.

The flavor of the Lavender Mint is a little odd to me though. I strongly believe it just because of my personal preferences. The mint is great. The lavender is okay. I love the scent of lavender but to taste it is just a little weird to me. It’s still not bad though honestly. Just a little strange. And it’s not a strong taste either. I love this balm so much that I can easily overlook that part of it. I am definitely going to try the Raspberry and Orange Vanilla though. Definitely have to buy those two!

Overall I am pretty happy with it!

Buy It: You can buy this product online at Goddess Garden Organics. Each lip balm is $3.99 on their website. You can also use their store locator to see if there is a retailer near you. I did find that you can buy them at Kroger, Walmart, and CVS.
