The Honey Stinger Energy Bar

The bar is 78% organic, gluten free, and non GMO. These are some of the things I love about it. There are only 8 ingredients which is another thing I love about them. Organic rolled oats, organic tapioca syrup, organic apple, walnuts, organic honey, cranberries (apple juice infused), organic amaranth, and natural flavor.

I am always curious about energy bars but at the same time I am worried about trying them. That’s only because I rarely find an energy bar that doesn’t have a strange aftertaste and it’s also hard to find one that tastes really good. So when I tried my Honey Stinger Bar, I was pleasantly surprised.

The flavor is pretty good. I liked it but my husband loved it. I thought it had a nutty flavor but the cranberry and apple stood out the most. I am glad the walnut pieces in the bar wasn’t too big. It makes it easier to chew. I am also happy to say there isn’t any strange aftertaste either. I love the cranberry and apple flavors. Like I said, they really stand out. It’s a little tart but sweet at the same time because of the honey sweetness.

The texture is pretty good too. That’s one of the biggest things for me. I have a thing about textures. These bars are not crunchy. They are soft but not soft in the way that they are squishy or anything like that. They are really easy to bite into and chew. They are only a little chewy. I personally think the texture is great.

They taste pretty good in my opinion and my husband says they taste really great!

Buy It: Visit Honey Stinger website to buy. You can buy a box of 15 for around $25. They are also available at Dick’s Sporting Goods in my area. You can check their store locator to see if there is a retailer near you.
