PINCHme Sample Box and Product Review – February 2018

*I received product mentioned in this post for free in exchange for my review and feedback. All opinions are 100% my own.*

It’s been a while since I have done one of these posts. I have been signed up at PinchMe for a couple years. I have received many free sample boxes from them. I don’t qualify every month but I do pretty often. They always have some pretty good samples. Some of them are small samples while others are very generous travel sizes. And of course every once in a while there are full size products. There was one time I even received full size makeup products.

It’s free to sign up and all you have to do is leave feedback for the product samples you received. If this is something you are interested in, check out my “how it works” post HERE. You can also see my other PinchMe posts HERE to get an idea of what the sample boxes may look like. PinchMe has changed a little since I posted those “how it works” posts but it still works basically the same.

What was in this box?

Clairol Nice N Easy Hair Color (full size)- I got a coupon for a free box up to $8.99. Also included with the hair color coupon was a cute elastic hair band as well. I have used Nice N Easy before and I love it. It’s easy to apply and the color looks great. I am usually happy with how long the color lasts. Clairol has a new formula now so I was excited to try it out. It’s allergy gentle, has conditioners at every step, it’s a non drip formula, 100% gray coverage, and 8 weeks of coverage. It also has a really great new floral scent which I absolutely LOVED. It smelled amazing. I can say that the formula was definitely non drip. It was actually pretty creamy I thought. Definitely covered grays really well and I love the color. I will update to let you all know how long the color lasted.

Garnier Whole Blends Gentle Shampoo and Conditioner (sample packets) – I have used these shampoos before and I love them. This was the first time I tried the Gentle version however. I received one time use samples. It contains oat milk and rice cream extracts. These help with softness and hydration. I love the scent of this shampoo and conditioner. I thought my hair was softer and looked more hydrated and healthy looking after just one use. I think I am going to buy the full product and try it out longer to get a better opinion.

SlimFast Bake Shop Meal Replacement Double Chocolate Chip Cookie (one single serve) – These cookies are actually pretty good. It was really soft and I loved the texture. It didn’t taste bad either. As for a meal replacement, I think it did a pretty good job keeping hunger at bay. It was pretty filling. It has 10g of protein and 5g of fiber. I love them for the protein but the downside are the carbs which I try to avoid as much as possible. But other than that, I thought it tasted pretty good.

RXBAR Kids Protein Bar (one single serve) – My kids love these. It contains 7g of protein and we love these bars when it comes to soccer season. They have very limited amount of ingredients. No bad stuff. It’s all real ingredients. The front of the package even lists them. The chocolate chip one has 2 egg whites, 4 almonds, 5 cashews, 1 date and no bad stuff. That is literally what the list is on the front of the package. They are soft and chewy. My middle son can’t eat them because of his tree nut allergy but my other two love them.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish (generous one time use) – I must buy the full size product. I loved it. There are 3 different ones and the one that I got was crushed macadamia & rice milk. It comes in a jar and you just scoop some out and use it like you would shower gel or body wash, etc. I love how it smells and I really love how it feels on my skin. I was very happy with how soft and hydrated my skin felt after using it. It rinses off easily too. I really like this stuff.

So if you are not signed up and are interested, make sure to sign up for a chance at receiving free sample boxes yourself!
