Ficklets Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

My 9 Year old daughter wears glasses.  She used to have a nice pair of wire framed glasses but they didn’t last very long at all.  She just didn’t care enough to take care of them.  Needless to say, we needed to get her a new pair of glasses and our insurance only covers one pair of glasses per year.  Since we had to buy the second pair, she was stuck with a pair of plastic framed glasses which I happen to think she looks better in those ones anyway.  She doesn’t like them much because they are “plain and uncool” as she likes to put it.  She wanted the cool Hannah Montana frames or the Camp Rock frames that she saw but we told her we would think about it if she started taking care of the ones that she has.  She’s just not happy about her “plain glasses”.
Ficklets has all kinds of Eyewear Charm Huggers.  I was excited about doing this review and my daughter was really happy about her Flicklets once we recieved them.  Ficklets sent us a set of blue sparkly stars charms and a set of really cute butterfly charms.  They are only about a half inch big which is the perfect size in my opinion.  They aren’t big enough to get in the way and they are big enough to see on my daughter’s glasses.  I think thay are downright adorable!
They are really easy to put on a pair of glasses too.  They have a small rubber band on the back of them with a hook on the bottom of them.  You simply hold the charm against the arm of the glasses, then you wrap the rubberband around and hook it to the hook on the backside.  I think this is great because I could imagine losing them if they just clipped on or something.  These little charms that we recieved are made of plastic and are pretty durable.  They even come with an extra set of rubberbands just in case something happens to the ones that are already on the charms.
My daughter has been using both sets of her Ficklets all the time.  Ever since she got these, (a couple weeks ago) she has been wearing them ever since.  She changes them pretty often so that she has a different look ever other day or so.  She has even worn her glasses with both pairs on her glasses at the same time.  I thought they looked really cute!  Even though she changes them all the time, we still haven’t had to change the rubberbands or replace them.  Ficklets Eyewear Charm Huggers will fit any glasses up to a 7mm wide frame.
I wear glasses myself and I have a pair of wire frame glasses.  I tried putting them on my glasses since everyone doesn’t have plastic frames.  They fit pretty well on my glasses.  They are a little lose but the charms don’t move much at all.  You can twist the band before you hook it on the bottom hook and they work perfectly.  I thought I would try them on my glasses so that everyone would know that they work on wire framed glasses as well.
I think Ficklets is a great idea and a great way to add excitement to a pair of glasses especially when you have a child that doesn’t even want to wear them.  My daughter loves them and Ficklets has tons of different charms so I think I will end up buying her some more of these.  They are so easy to put on that she can put them on her glasses herself.  I actually think these cute little charms has made wearing glasses a little easier.  Knowing that she can change the look anytime she wants makes wearing glasses a lot more fun!

Even if your child doesn’t wear glasses, they make cute charms for adding fun and dressing up a pair of sunglasses!

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.

Buy It:  You can buy these cute little Eyewear Charm Huggers at Ficklets for $5.98 apiece.  There are all kinds of them including animals, shapes, critters, sports and even classic ones that would look really nice on a pair of wire framed glasses.
