Supermarket Smarty Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

The Supermarket Smarty is a great way to keep me organized when I go to the grocery store.  I always make a list but I always use my regular grocery list pad.  I thought it was wonderful that Supermarket Smarty sent me one to use.  I was excited about it because with the Smarty, I don’t have to keep wasting paper!  When I opened up my Smarty, this was everything that came with it:

The Smarty is a folded dry erase grocery list.  If you are holding it as you are looking at the front of it, it opens up somewhat like a book because of the way that it is folded.  It’s like it has four pages and then you can turn it over and it opens the same way from the back.  There is just about everything I can think of on the lists that you will find in the grocery store.  Everything is sectioned with Dairy products, Deli, Fruits and Veggies, Nuts, Whole Grains – like I said, just about everything.  There is even a list of personal care items, cleaning items, and a pet list, etc.  I thought this was great the last time that I went to the grocery store.  All I had to do was go down through everything on the Smarty and put a checkmark next to everything that I needed at the store.  There are some things that I normally buy that aren’t on there like Spaghettios and what-not that my kids eat.  But that’s fine with me because there is even a place where you can write things in on the Smarty!

Eating healthy can be easy using the Smarty too.  All the foods listed on the Smarty have little symbols beside them.  For example, if there is a Fish symbol beside a food, that means that it is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids.  There are Whole Grain symbols, Healthy Fat symbols and more.  There is a symbol key in the Smarty that explains what they all mean.

If you are like me, you probably make a dinner menu for the week.  I do this all the time because it makes making a grocery list so much easier for me.  Included with the Smarty is a Meal Planner with the days of the week from Sunday to Saturday that is also dry erase so it can also be used over and over again.  There is also a pocket in the Smarty which comes in handy when I have coupons that I want to use!

If you read labels on packaging, there is even a lens on the front of the Smarty which allows you to be able to read fine print on the packaging so much easier!  Along with the Smarty came a retractable dry erase marker and a magnetic clip so that you can keep your Smarty on your refrigerator.  The magnet is also pretty strong which I love.  If you slide down the top piece of the clip, you can also clip the marker there so it’s always with your Smarty!

I found that the Smarty is easily able to be cleaned or wiped off which is great for your next use.  There is a list on the back part of the Smarty and if you have anything written or checked on the back, you have to be careful not to rub anything off.  I really didn’t have much of a problem with that though.  I was happy to see that there was an FSC logo on the Smarty and the marker has a Recycology logo on it.  That’s a bonus!  It’s also nice not having to keep wasting paper.  I love my Smarty.  It helps me stay organized and makes shopping a little easier.  Plus it helps me choose healthier foods.  It’s really a Smart product!

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
