Earlier this evening, we went to our daughter’s Second Grade program “Sing Into Spring”. Guess what? We didn’t even know about it until last night! Can you believe it? She keeps taking papers out of her book bag on the school bus so everything that was sent home about it, we never got. She didn’t even say anything or talk about it until the last minute. So here we are, rushing around at the last minute calling everyone to let them know about her program. It may have seemed a bit rushed but it was worth it in the end!
They sang “Play My Music” from Camp Rock
Here we have the “Hoedown Throwdown” from Hannah Montana the Movie
This song is so much fun and the kids had us parents and their grandparents yelling back at them! This song also gets stuck in my head and it’s been driving me crazy all night!
“Raining Sunshine” from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
They even did the Limbo to “Hot, Hot, Hot!”
Half the kids did the Limbo while the other half danced and clapped around everyone in the audience!
They also sang “The Boogie Oogie Woogie” and “Under the Sea”. This was the first program that we have gone too where we could understand what the kids were singing. In the First Grade and Kindergarten, the kids just didn’t seem to sing together very well. They all did great this evening and we are so proud of our daughter because she was able to stay with the whole group of kids this time and she sang! With her disabilities, she usually can’t handle these things but she did great and for the most part she enjoyed herself. We are very proud of her and we all had a lot of fun!
My friday and weekend are off to a good start. Hope you all have a great Friday and great weekend!
