On The Go Inflatables Potty Seat Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

We are finally through with potty training!  There are still a couple accidents here and there but most of those accidents happen after we had gotten back from somewhere because our son doesn’t like to use a strange potty, plus he still still too small for most toilets.  He’s afraid he might fall in without his potty seat that he uses to put on top of the toilet seat.  Carrying around his regular plastic potty seat for traveling like going shopping and what-not is a little difficult to do.  We have taken it to mama’s house or another any other place that we were planning on spending some time.
Since toting his potty seat just wasn’t that convenient, I was thrilled when On The Go Inflatables sent us one of their Inflatable Potty Seats.  The first time that I saw them, I thought they were a great idea because you can literally take them anywhere without having to figure out how to carry along that hard plastic seat.
It’s really easy to use.  There is a valve where you blow it up and it inflates fairly quickly.  I would like it to inflate a little quicker when he really has to go but it’s good enough.  At least when we are out, he won’t hold it the whole time so waiting until it is inflated isn’t much of a problem.  The seat has a back rest on it which makes him feel more comfortable sitting on it.  The one that we got was a blue character seat.  The seat has eyes on the back rest and a smile on the seat.  It’s actually really cute.  The seat also has a part that is also inflated underneath the seat so that when it is sitting on the toilet seat, it won’t slide.  That part makes the seat fit snug on the toilet so that it doesn’t move.

Final Thoughts….

The other thing that I like about the seat is that it has a handle on both sides of it making sitting down and getting up easier.  It’s a really comfortable and cushy seat.  You may wonder if this is really sanitary since you have to inflate it after being used on a toilet.  I think it’s just as sanitary if you carry around a regular seat.  If we took his regular seat anywhere, I would carry along disinfecting wipes anyway.  I always wipe it down after use and the valve is on the back rest.  It isn’t near the bottom.  It deflates really quickly.  There is a separate valve that when pulled, it deflates in no time flat.
We used the seat in our home for a week or two before we started taking it anywhere with us.  We did that so that it was something he was used to.  He doesn’t have any problem using a strange bathroom since it’s more like home ti him!  We like the seat and our son likes using it.  It has made it so much easier for him to go to the potty when we are out and about.
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
