Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature 9 oz Bottle Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

I was really excited to be able to work with Tommee Tippee on a review.  They have a lot of great products including their Closer to Nature and Explora products.  These products are designed to relieve feeding anxieties that mom’s may have.  They have products such as baby bottles, pacifiers, and sippy cups.  The Closer to Nature Bottles make switching from breastfeeding to bottle feeding easier as the nipple is made to resemble the size and shape of the breast including the feel and movement.  Their Explora products includes sippy cups and other feeding products that are designed to be more helpful in the weaning process.
Tommee Tippee is based in the UK and have won many awards including the Mother and Baby Gold Awards 3 years in a row.  Included in their Closer to Nature line are Bottles (regular Closer to Nature bottles), Sensitive Tummy Bottles, First Sips Cup, Steam Sterilizers, Bottle Accessories, and Pacifiers.
We received a Closer to Nature 9 oz Bottle for our use and review.  The bottle is designed to be literally closer to nature.  The nipple design as I mentioned above does closely resemble a breast and it mimics the shape, movement, and feel of breastfeeding.  These bottles make it a lot easier when there comes a time when breastfeeding just isn’t possible.  The nipple of the bottle also allows baby to feed at his/her own pace.
The first time that I used it, our little man took right to it.  I ended up liking this bottle a lot better than his other bottles that we have.  This is also the only bottle that I have that still hasn’t leaked.  The nipple doesn’t collapse on him either like we have experienced with other bottles.  The Closer to Nature Bottles are supposed to reduce colic as well so if you have a colicky one, these are definitely for your little one.  Our little guy was very colicky but he has grown out of it a few months ago but these bottles to reduce air so it makes things gentler on his belly.
I love the shape of the bottle.  At first, I wasn’t even sure if it really was a nine ounce bottle because it’s just as short as a 4 ounce bottle.  The bottle is wider and it is shaped so that it can be held more comfortably.  I really like using it.  The nipple also seals inside the ring really well (a lot better than others) and the cap also stays on really well and have never had a problem with it coming off.  The indents in the bottle also make it easier for my little guy to hold it himself which I happen to think is great because I would like to introduce a sippy cup very soon.  He might as well start by holding his own bottle.
I am a big fan of Tommee Tippee and love their Closer to Nature bottles.  When we get him started on sippy cups, I will definitely look into getting Explora products from Tommee Tippee.  I was really impressed with the bottle we received.  If you are looking for a bottle to switch between breastfeeding and bottle feeding, these are definately for you.  They really are “Closer to Nature”!  I think these bottles would be great even if you aren’t breastfeeding.  They have baby in mind regardless!

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
