MD Moms Baby Silk Cleansing Towelettes Review

Diane Truong and JJ Levenstein are both pediatricians and moms that got their inspiration from their patients and their own kids to come up with their Baby Silk personal care baby products.  How great is that?  We have pediatricians that know what our babies need and they are both Moms that know what Moms know!  Not only have they come up with great products but they also have a strong commitment to take care of the needs of their little patients, they do pro-bono work in clinics, and they designate a portion of their sales to children’s charity, The Oscar Litwak Foundation.
I was given the opportunity to work with MD Moms on a review and was sent a package of their Baby Silk Cleansing Towelettes for our use and review.  I honestly have to say that these are the best wipes that I have ever used.

  • Contains no phthalates, lanolin, mineral oil, petroleum, waxes, wheat or gluten
  • Paraben-free
  • Alcohol-free
  • Clinically tested & hypoallergenic
  • Made in the USA
  • No animal testing
They come in a pouch that is great for traveling.  These are much easier to take along in a diaper bag than a regular tub of wipes are.  The packaging has a hard plastic top that opens up revealing a hole to remove the wipes.  The top closes tightly too so I have never had to worry about any of the wipes drying out.  There are 72 wet towelettes in a pack.  These towelettes are great to “keep baby clean from head to toes!”  I definitely agree with this.
These aren’t your typical size baby wipes either.  The Towelettes are a little bigger than any standard size baby wipes are.  I really like this because it makes me have to go through less wipes whether I am using them during a diaper change or wiping off faces for the second or third time while we are out.  These towelettes do something else that I would have never expected them too.  They stretch!  This actually came in handy.
They have a great thickness to them and they are strong.  I haven’t had a single one of them tear or rip.  I actually find them kind of hard to tear apart.  You have to really be trying to tear them before they will.  I had to experiment as I was curious.  They have a great scent to them too.  It’s a very light scent and I love it.  Even though they have a scent to them, they are still great for sensitive skin.   And they are really, really soft!  It’s almost like using a wet, soft cloth.  They clean very well whether I am using them during a diaper change or just using them for cleaning my older son’s face or what-not.  Our 4 year old son has even used them himself because he still doesn’t do a very good job of cleaning himself after he uses the bathroom.
I love Baby Silk Cleansing Towelettes.  I think MD Moms came up with a great product!
“Keep baby clean from nose to toes! These soft, luxurious cleansing towelettes are effective enough to use nose to toes yet gentle enough to use even on irritated or sensitive skin. An alcohol-free blend of marine silk, vitamins E and B5, organic aloe and comfrey provides moisturizing and antioxidant benefits, while ginger and chamomile soothe and calm irritation. Baby’s skin on both sets of cheeks will be squeaky clean and silky soft!”
MD Moms is also on twitter and facebook!
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
