One Eskimo Self Titled Debut Album Review

I was given a wonderful opportunity from One2One Network to join their One Eskimo campaign to review their self titled debut album which is now available in stores.

Simple Day
Givin Up
All Balloons
Chosen One
“One eskimO is a critically-acclaimed English band fronted by singer-songwriter Kristian Leontiou and includes musicians Pete Rinaldi (guitar), Jamie Sefton (bass, horns) and Adam Falkner (drums).”
Their song, Kandi is currently the #1 alternative song and is the most played song in the last 4 weeks on all adult rock stations.  You may have heard it yourself.  I have heard it before I got the opportunity to join this project with One2One Network and I really like it.  What I love about One Eskimo is that they aren’t anything like what I have heard before.  They may have the number 1 “alternative” song but to me, it’s easy listening.  I really enjoy listening to them.  I think I would have to agree with what Billboard Magazine said, “…catchy, ambient pop.”  My favorites would probably have to be Kandi, Hometown, and Simple Day.  The album is fun to listen to, fun to sing along to, and it’s something that I don’t have to worry about when my kids hear it.
One Eskimo is on tour during the months of May, June and July so check the tour dates below to find out where they will be!

Like I said, I really like listening to this album and I like the sound of One Eskimo’s music.  It really is a one of a kind band and I love it.  My husband listened to it in the car all the time too.  He told me it’s a great way to wind down after his long day of work and his long drive home.  If you have never heard One Eskimo, you are in for a treat because you can get a free download of Astronauts via Twitter.  You can buy the Deluxe Addition on iTunes and don’t forget to check out their You Tube Channel, and the band is also on Facebook!

Bottom Line:

Make sure to check them out!  We love this album!  Fun to listen to, fun to sing along with, great lyrics, and it’s something we can listen to over and over again with their catchy music.  They really are unique and I seriously don’t think I have ever heard anyone like them which is something that I really appreciate when it comes to music.  I don’t want to hear someone that sounds like everyone else and One Eskimo is definitely different!

A copy if this CD was sent to me for free from One2One Network for my review.  I was not paid to write my review and opinions expressed in my review are 100% my own.  For writing my review, I was entered to win one of six gift cards and my opinions were not influenced in any way.
