Piggy Paint Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

My daughter loves nail polish.  She is 9 years old and has been into nail polish since she was about 3 years old.  Piggy Paint is a kid-friendly nail polish that is all natural.  There aren’t any chemicals in it.  I was happy to be given the opportunity to work with them on a review.  When I was reading about Piggy Paint on their site, I read something that really caught my attention.  Let me start by talking a little about the company.
Melanie Hurley is the founder of Piggy Paint.  She has 2 little girls that love to have their nails painted.  Kid nail polishes always bothered her when it comes to the chemicals because there was always the worries about these chemicals being ingested because her girls were young enough to still put their fingers in their mouth.  That makes a lot of sense and I kind of had the same feelings about that myself but now that my daughter is older, I don’t have to worry about it much.  This next part is what shocked me.  Take a look at this picture:
Can you believe that?  I was shocked!  I read that one day when she was painting nails with her girls, one of them dropped some paint on a foam plate which was solvent-based nail polish.  Not much later, she saw the paint bubble and actually made a hole in the plate.  She tested all her daughters’ kid polish in this fashion and decided there was no way she was going to use them anymore.  This is how the idea for Piggy Paint came about and how it came about.  I never knew that could happen!  Needless to say after seeing and reading that, I stopped letting my daughter use all her kid polish.  It just bothers me.  I don’t particularly like kid nail polish anyway.
We were sent a bottle of Forever Fancy Piggy Paint (a pink color) and a bottle of Piggy Paint Nail Polish Remover for our use and review.  Piggy Paint does not have formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, Bisphenol A, ethyl acetate and acetone in it.  It is non-toxic, has a low odor, hypoallergenic, and is a water-based formula.  The Piggy Paint Remover has a low odor, does not contain acetone, also hypoallergenic, and biodegradable.  Piggy Paint has a great Product Info page on their site and you can read more by reading their Product Info Page.
We love Piggy Paint!  After getting the chance to try it, I have decided that I wasn’t going to buy my daughter any of that other kid nail polish anymore.  I told my husband that if we decide to buy her anymore, I want to buy Piggy Paint.  I seriously have made up my mind on this.  These are my own opinions.  Piggy Paint even works much better than those other polishes that my daughter had.  We always had a problem with paint actually pealing off nails, not drying fast enough or not at all remaining sticky.  We didn’t have any of these problems with Piggy Paint.  In fact, It dries pretty quick.
By the time we painted one of our thumb nails, it was dry by the time we finished the rest of our nails.  Even though it dries that quickly, it can still be scratched easily because it is a water-based formula.  It’s actually recommended that you use a blow dryer after painting them to make the polish harden more quickly or paint nails at night so that you can go to bed without having to worry about them getting scratched up before it’s completely set.  I was pretty amazed at how well it does dry to have a hard, durable finish.  Piggy Paint also has other kid polishes beat there too.
I love the Piggy Paint Remover too.  It’s so much safer to use than others.  It works really well and removes polish pretty quickly!  It even works on computer desks when our 4 year old son decided he wanted to paint my desk!  I can’t say enough about how pleased I am with Piggy Paint!
