Seventh Generation Free and Clear Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

“Our Mission”
“To inspire a more conscious and sustainable world by being an authentic force for positive change”
“From the very beginning, we’ve pushed to have a real impact on our competitors, suppliers, communities, and government. Products may be the vehicle, but far-reaching, genuine change is the mission.”
I was really happy to be able to work with Seventh Generation on a review!  I don’t like to clean but I still get excited about cleaning products especially natural ones.  Upon my request, Seventh Generation sent me a generous kit filled with 10 of their products including a recycled tote bag.  With the kit that they sent me was the Free and Clear Starter Kit which includes laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish liquid, all-purpose cleaner, auto dish pacs, glass cleaner, and the tote bag.  They also included disinfecting multi-surface, disinfecting wipes, disinfecting bathroom cleaner, and a roll of natural paper towels along with the Free and Clear Kit.  The latter products are technically not Free and Clear but they were included because:
“The Disinfectants have Thymol sent (from Thyme oil). These are NOT considered free & clear, but they are great for immune-depressed households or those with small children, hence why I’ve included them here. The scent dissipates quickly.”  (This came from the email I received)
The laundry detergent and fabric softener are great. I do prefer to have a scent to my laundry detergent though but that’s just me. There isn’t a scent but my clothes come out clean and even though there isn’t a scent, they still smell clean. The auto dish pacs are awesome. I have almost used all of them and my dishes come out of the dishwasher really clean. When using other dishwasher detergents it never fails that a few of my dishes have a film or something on them. I didn’t have any of that with these! The dish liquid also impressed me. I normally can only use one kind of dish liquid and have been buying the same brand for 10 years now. Dish liquid is usually harsh on my hands but Seventh Generation really knows what they are doing.
One of the first of the products that I used was the disinfecting wipes.  I am a disinfecting crazy person with 5 people in my house especially when someone is sick.  With three kids (one of them at school) gets a little crazy when one of them is sick.  No one in my house can get sick at one time either.  We all have to take turns so to try to reduce the endless cycle, I disinfect everything!  I thought the wipes were great.  They were strong and had a pleasant scent but it didn’t linger long.  They cleaned well and each one had the perfect moisture all the way through.  I love them.  My only problem is that I am out of them!
I also love the paper towels.  They are brown in color and to be honest, the first time I saw them, I thought there was no way that these would work very well.  They reminded me of what would be in a public restroom.  I am very happy to say that they work pretty well.  They aren’t as strong as other paper towels that I have used but they are strong enough.  They are also pretty absorbant too.  Don’t let the color fool you.  They are still good paper towels and they are natural.
I love the other cleaners as well.  They do the job that is needed to be done and clean very well.  They definitely work just as good as any other cleaner.  I actually think they work better than some of the other cleaners that I have used.  I don’t have to worry about anything harmful in them either.  This is why I love natural products.  They are less harmful and better for our environment.  These Seventh Generation products are really great.  I didn’t really find anything wrong with any of them.  I was pretty pleased overall!

Seventh Generation focuses on ways to restore our environment by the three R’s – reduce, re-use and recycle.  They work to ensure that their products have a full life cycle by using natural resources and being renewed after being used.  And of course they take great care in making safe, natural products that work that are still gentle on the Earth.  In my opinion, Seventh Generation has great products that I can add to my home that will make things that much greener!  They make me feel like I am using something a little safer in my home.

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
