Kids/Baby, Reviews/Giveaways

{Everything Summer} Go! Go! Sports Girls Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

Go! Go! Sports Girls were founded by Jodi Norgaard.  Jodi has always been involved in sports.  She has coached “Girls on the Run” for many years.  “Girls on the Run” is a program designed to encourage girls to make healthy choices in life through running.  After working with these young girls, Jodi had an idea.  “I realized there was a need for a positive doll for girls that would be age appropriate, proportioned properly and send a positive message about a healthy lifestyle – physically, mentally and emotionally – through sports.”  That was how Go! Go! Sports Girls were born.  Jodi worked with her daughter who was 10 at the time because she wanted something in her dolls what every little girl would want and who better to consult than your own daughter?!

Go! Go! Sports Dolls

I was given the wonderful opportunity to work with Jodi on a review.  There are now 11 Go! Go! Sports Girls that have a different message.  The point of Go! Go! Sports Girls are to “send the message to girls to dream big and go for it.”  Each doll features her own sport such as soccer, golf, dance, softball, swimming, and more.  Each doll features a different sport so there are 11 dolls that love 11 different sports.
What I love about them is that each doll has her own personalities.  They each have their own personal likes and healthy message to send to their own little girl that loves them.  My daughter chose Go! Go! Sports Girl Gracie.  Gracie plays tennis and she likes the same things that our daughter likes.  She was also designed after Jodi’s daughter!
“Gracie loves to hit winners! Her favorite shot is her backhand down the line. Before playing tennis, Gracie stretches, drinks plenty of water and eats a healthy snack for energy, like a banana. When she is off the court, Gracie likes reading and playing with her friends.”

Gracie likes to dream big and Go For It!

Go! Go! Sports Girls are approximately 13 inches tall and are really cute, fun, plush dolls.  Our daughter just loves Gracie and I absolutely love her hair.  She has blue eyes and her face is embroidered on beautifully.  Her clothes are absolutely adorable!  Our daughter is also a big fan of this style of dolls too so the way Gracie is made is also a bonus!

Includes accessories

Included with Gracie is a little drawstring bag with a few accessories.  Gracie plays tennis and she can’t be without her racket of course!  Included in her bag is a tennis racket, a little towel and a tennis ball!  She can wear her bag on her back!  Our daughter thinks this is so cool and loves her accessories.  Gracie also has a message under her shirt, “Dream Big, Ace It.”  It is recommended that the Go! Go! Sports Girls are only surface washed.  Gracie is a great friend for our daughter and she is also cuddly.  She likes to sleep with her doll (without the accessories of course!).

Final Thoughts…

I think Go! Go! Sports Girls are inspirational to any little girl.  They have a great message to send and we love what they are all about.  They are recommended for ages 3 years and older.  Go! Go! Sports Girls also donates 5% of the profits from the purchase of each doll to Girls Inc.  You can learn more by visiting and
