The heating and cooling in our house is just weird. It’s an old house and upstairs in the kids’ bedrooms, there aren’t any vents to get heat up there in the cold months or cool air in the summer months. We have to use a heater fan up there in the winter time and we have a window AC up there in the summer. With all that being said, sleeping up there at night can sometimes be a little uncomfortable. It can feel a little cool or a little warm up there regardless of whether it’s summer or winter.
Halo provides a way to help with that with their
Technical Comfort System® Clothing with Coolmax® Fabric. Of our three kids, Little E is the one with the most trouble sleeping and I received a wonderful opportunity to try
Halo’s Technical Comfort Clothing.
You can buy two piece sets, bodysuits, coveralls (zip up sleepers), and you can also buy hats.
We received a two piece set from
Halo and I can honestly say, it works wonders! It’s a long sleeved shirt with long pants and in the summer, I was wondering how in the world this clothing was supposed to keep our little guy cooler but it really does! It’s a light material that is very breathable. With the
Coolmax Fabric, it keeps your baby cooler when it’s warm and keeps him warm when it’s cold.

We can usually keep the upstairs temperature pretty comfortable and consistent when the whether is more regular and predictable. Even though it’s still summer, at this point in time it’s getting a little cooler at night and the bedrooms upstairs get cooler and sometimes he has woken up in the middle of the night because he was a little chilled. When we started using
Halo Technical Comfort Clothing, he hasn’t had this problem. Of course during they day, it can get pretty warm up there and he would wake up feeling a little sticky. Again, when I happened to have him dressed in it during the day, I noticed that he did stay cooler.
The other great thing about it is that they don’t have to only be worn at night. They are great for outdoor play too and even SPF 30 and chemical free. Even though the two piece outfit covers him completely, he still stays cool outside even when it’s warm and has great sun protection at the same time. I absolutely love it!
Halo Technical Comfort Clothing can also help prevent rashes including eczema breakouts because the fabric is quick-dry fabric that wisks moisture away from skin and helps to protect skin from irritation.
“The American Academy of Pediatrics says more than half of all 4 to 15-month-olds get rashes. HALO’s Technical Comfort System® clothing made of moisture-wicking, quick-dry Coolmax® fabric helps protect against irritation by keeping baby’s skin cool and dry.”
After using this product, I have to say that I can easily believe these claims. I was very impressed with how well it works and Little E is definitely comfortable wearing it. If you layer your baby in clothing in the winter when going out,
Halo Technical Comfort is also great to wear under clothing as well to protect baby’s skin and still either keep him feeling cool if he gets too hot with the layers or it works as an extra layer to keep him warm if he is cold. Like I said, I was very impressed and amazed by this product!
The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
Buy It: Visit
Halo Technical Comfort to buy yours today. The two piece set is $22.95, the coveralls are $22.95, the bodysuits are $12.95, and the hats are $7.95. You can also buy them at Babies R Us.
Win It! Halo is offering my readers a chance to win! One of my lucky readers will win a Halo Technical Comforts two piece set for themselves!

I read the Pop Art Toaster Disney Princess 5 in 1 Tasty Baker Review post. My girls would LOVE this!

I read the post about Dapple Toy Cleaner and Dish Liquid. I love the idea of a safe but effective toy cleaner. I have a baby who is already putting everything he can reach into his mouth so I'd love to have a good, safe cleaner for those toys.

I read the Pravana Naturceuticals Fresh! Volumizing Dry Shampoo Review post. I have wanted to try dry shampoo for a long time and even looked on Amazon at the different brands. With a new baby and 2 siblings, there are definitely times I could use some freshening up. I'd love to try this product!

I read the Sarah McLachlan Laws of Illusion Review post. Love her! The Lilith Fair was cancelled in my state. 🙁 I'll be buying her CD soon.

I read the EcoStore Products Review. I would love to try their products someday. It is scary how many chemicals go into the products we use on our bodies and our children! The products on EcoStore seem like a great line to switch to.
