{Back to School} Naked Binder Eco Friendly Binders Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

I love using eco friendly products as most of you know even when it comes to school or office supplies.  I use a lot of binders to keep everything organized.  I like using them instead of putting everything in folders because after they have been in hanging folders in my filing cabinet for a long time, the folders seem to bend in the middle over time.  I put my full page hole puncher to work storing everything in binders and storing them in my filing cabinet until I need them.  I have been through quite a few binders though because the ones that I have bought, don’t last forever.
Naked Binder offers great binders that are eco-friendly and are made of recycled materials.  After receiving the opportunity to use them for myself, I found them to be very durable and I have been really pleased with them!  I was sent a 1″ Project Binder, 1″ Naked Binder, 1″ Classic Binder, and one of their Naked Pocket Folders
The Naked Binder is made of recycled board and doesn’t have any color to it.  It’s just a plain grayish white color.  I like the plain color and it looks really nice.  If you buy them for your child for school, I bet they would enjoy doodling on it too.  It comes with either the round or square spine and is a three ring binder that comes in 4 different sizes.  It also makes it great for you to labled the spine too if you want to but Naked Binder also offers personalization for all their binders with their labeling system that they offer.
The Project Binder is a bare Naked Binder with a spine wrap made with 100% cotton bookbinding cloth.  The wrap adds color to the binder and comes in 9 different colors.  I received one in flare red.  I think the color names are also great too.  They also come in round or square spine styles and like the previous binder, also comes in 4 different sizes too.  Another great thing about the Project Binder is that you can buy all different colors to keep you organized by color and they also look great on a bookshelf to brighten up any office, even at home!
And of course, they are also great for high school kids to help keep their locker organized.  I remember in high school, I had to have a few binders and I would have to double check to make sure I was picking up the right one.  Some binders may even start to break at the binding if they are sitting on end on a shelf too which I can say from experience, these binders are perfect for that.  Like I said, very durable and I haven’t had a durablilty issue at all with them!
I really love the Classic Binder too.  It is covered in grained FSC certified black paper and the spine is wrapped in another color which like the Project Binder, it can be purchased in the same 9 great colors.  The Classic Binder also has a hole on the binding (finger pull) so you can easily pull it from the shelf.  It is also a three ring binder like the others and you can also buy this one in the same 4 different sizes.  The Classic Binder, however, is only offered with the square spine.  The Classic Binder also has the complete finished look to it.
The Naked Folder that I received was one of their Naked Binder Pouches.  They also offer one pocket and two pocket folders, and CD holders for your binder.  The Binder Pouch is a one pocket binder pouch that also includes a place to insert a CD on the front of it and another place to insert a business card or something else of that size.  I cut an index card and inserted it and labled it that way.  The pouch or pocket is designed really well so that the open part is only opened at the top at an angle instead of having your typical pocket sizes in a folder.  I love this feature because there are some things that I really can’t put in my binders so they get placed in there and I don’t have to worry about anything falling out of it.  Everything that I have put in it, have sayed put pretty well.
All these products are 100% easily Recyclable and are made with 100% recycled FSC certified board, *97%-100% post consumer waste board, and they aren’t made with plastic, vinyl or toxic chemicals and are acid free.  They are also laboratory tested and are found to last 34 years of 20 uses a day!
*The Classic Binder is made with 100% post consumer waste board.
Sizes (all three binders)
Holds standard 8.5 x 11″ paper
1″ holds 220 sheets
1.5″ holds 350 sheets
2″ holds 450 sheets
2.5″ holds 550 sheets
Overall, I absolutely love them!  The rings are very sturdy too.  They are pretty strong and I don’t see any wear or tear on them after being open and closed so many times any time soon.  All of them are very durable and strong and I have no doubt that they will last a long time.  My son even spilled water on my Classic Binder and I figured it would have been ruined but it didn’t even get soggy.  The board is thick and tough so the water didn’t even go through it causing it to wet through.  It dried and it didn’t even look like anything was spilled on it.  They are definitely tough and durable!

The product was sent to me for free by the company for my use and review. I was not paid to write my review and my opinions are 100% my own.
