Hatley Big Eater Kids Mealtime Set Review and $20 GC Giveaway {CLOSED}

Hatley is a great place to shop for really cute kids and baby clothing and they even have great clothing items for both men and women too.  Hey moms guess what?  You can even get PJ’s to match your kids!  Not only do they have a cute selection of clothing items for kids and babies, they also offer bibs, feeding sets and even plush animals! 
I was given the opportunity to work with Hatley on a review and I was sent thier Big Eater Kids’ Melamine Dish Set for our use and review.  It’s so adorable with the shark and octopus on the plate and bowl!
The size of the plate and bowl are the perfect size for toddlers or for those just starting to eat real food.  The smaller size bowl and plate (compared to your standard dish) is great for portion control.  The spoon and fork that comes with it is really cute.  They are also the perfect size for little ones and the handles are easy for them to hold onto.  The spoon and fork are a little big for our 1 year old’s mouth but like I said, they are more suitable for toddlers.  Our 4 year old uses the utensils and he loves them.  I love how it’s called “Big Eater”.  Our little guy is a pretty big eater himself so I found it to be very fitting!
They are dishwasher safe but not recommended for use in the microwave.  As a busy mom, I use my dishwasher a lot and I have never experienced any kind of scratching on any of the dishes what-so-ever.  I found them to be very durable and the best part is that if your child likes to throw thier plate off their highchair like my little guy does sometimes, they are shatterproof!  The plate also has a little depth to it making pushing food onto a spoon or fork easier for them instead of getting frustrated because they end up pushing food off thier plate!  To finish the set off, you can also buy a matching bib that matches the Big Eater Dish Set!
