{Holiday Gift Guide} BobbleRoos Toddler Pillow/Blanket Set Review and Giveaway {CLOSED}

Our little guy wasn’t sleeping very well all night for a while and we couldn’t really figure out why.  He’s getting bigger and everytime we get him out of bed, he’s in some weird sleeping position like he couldn’t get comfortable.  We tried giving him a pillow but it wasn’t really working very well.  The pillow just didn’t seem to fit him even though it was a small pillow.  When we were given the opportunity to try one of BobbleRoos toddler pillows, formerly known as Mr. Bobbles’ Blankets, we were really impressed!
We were sent one of their toddler pillow and blanket sets, an extra pillowcase, and one of their adorable security blankets which are called Bips.  There are so many different design choices for both boys and girls and even ones that are neutral.  Our little guy loves monkeys so that’s what I chose and when I received them, I thought they were the cutest bed/nap time sets we have had!

The toddler pillow measures 12 inches by 16 inches and are only 3 inches high.  You can buy the insert by itself and include a pillowcase of your choice or you can buy a set which includes both together.  You can even purchase the complete pillow set with a matching toddler blanket as well!  I thought the pillow was the perfect size for our little guy.  It’s soft too.  They are made so that they are proportionate with a toddlers size.  I know what it’s like as an adult having neck or back problems and not getting great sleep all because of a pillow.

The pillow inserts are made with 100% cotton fabric with non-allergenic polyester filling.  The pillowcase and blanket is made of 100% cotton flannel that feels soft.  They even feel softer after washing them!  I love how the inserts are fit into the pillowcase.  There is a flap on the inside of the pillowcase that actually prevents it from sliding off the pillow.  I think this is a wonderful feature so that the pillowcase doesn’t come off.

The blanket we received was one of their larger ones measuring 60 inches by 44 inches.  I love the size because he can stay covered up without feeling like it’s too big of a blanket.  The blanket reminds me of a really, really large receiving blanket only it’s thicker.  It doesn’t feel really heavy either which is a good thing in my opinion.  It keeps him warm without getting too hot and allows him to breath.  Our older son likes to bundle up and then gets hot in the middle of the night, kicks everything off of him and later wakes up cold.  That kind of defeats the whole purpose of a good night’s sleep.  With the BobbleRoos blanket, I don’t have to worry about this with little man.

Our little guy also has to have one of his security blankets or lovies anytime he sleeps.  Security items are a good thing because it means that your child is learning to control their own comfort.  Not all kids get attached to a comfort item but a lot of them do.  Sometimes the comfort item is a blanket and BobbleRoos security blankets called Bips are unique in a way that they are literally like a “chip off the ‘ole blanket”.  You can purchase them to match a full size blanket and they literally look just like the same blanket only smaller.  A corner of the Bip is silky for tactile stimulation.  This is a really good thing because he has to have a silky part of something touching just a small part of his face before he will even go to sleep and of course he doesn’t let go of it!

We love BobbleRoos!  All items are made really well – definitely with a lot of care and great quality.  I am pleased to say that he does sleep a lot better with a pillow that is suitable for him and he can move around comfortably in his sleep with his blanket.  His Bips has also become one of his favorites because it’s so familiar to him now.  If he doesn’t have his blanket when we aren’t at home, his small look alike is his best friend when he is tired.  The pillow is also the perfect size for traveling in the car!  BobbleRoos definitely has our toddlers in mind!
Keep in mind that not all kids are ready for a pillow at the same time.  It’s recommended that around 2-3 years is a good time to start.  Our little guy is not 2 years old but we have talked to his pediatrician about his sleeping habits and problems that he has had and due to his size (he’s a bit big for his age) she thought we could try a pillow.
Buy It:  Visit BobbleRoos to buy your favorites today!  You can purchase pillow and blanket sets for as little as $30.50, extra pillowcases for $8.95 and Bips for $6.50.  You can also have pillows, blankets, and bips personalized!
