Burt’s Bees Natural Tinted Lip Balm Review

I don’t know about everyone else, but I have always loved Burt’s Bees products!  The best thing about them is that they are all made with natural ingredients and I only have great things to say about any of their products that I have used.  I also love what the company is about too.  They use as many natural ingredients as possible and they are earth friendly.  Not only do they use natural ingredients, their packaging is also eco-friendly that can easily be recycled and are also made from recycled materials.

I received the opportunity to try Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm and I absolutely love it!  There are 6 flower inspired shades which include Rose, Hibiscus, Tiger Lily, Honeysuckle, Pink Blossom, and Red Dahlia.  I received 3 different shades to try out and I really like them all.

“Inspired by the fresh beauty of spring flowers, Burt’s Bees® Tinted Lip Balms provide a burst of hydration and a hint of sheer color in six chic, wearable shades and a sweet natural flavor. Each 100% natural balm cares for your lips with a blend of soft flower waxes, moisture-rich Shea Butter and Vitamin E, leaving lips feeling smooth, healthy and hydrated.  The shade range is designed to give every woman a perfect neutral, pink and red – one from each of the shade families.”

I can’t get over the moisture that they bring to my lips!  I get dry or chapped lips easily at this time of year.  The weather is constantly changing which is very pleasant to my lips or skin for that matter.  There are a lot of times that I would love to be able to use my lip gloss or what-not but can’t because of my dry lips.  I end up being stuck using some kind of lip balm and of course I have no color on my lips.  This is the wonderful thing about Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm!  Your lips get the moisture and protection that they dearly need while at the same time, you can have some great color on your lips!

The color is amazing for all the shades that I tried.  The lip color doesn’t stand out as well as some lip color does but that’s what I think is so great about it.  They literally tint your lips with great color.  The lip balm glides on smoothly and evenly and it doesn’t feel sticky and stays for quite a while.  I didn’t even need to re-apply that often.  They don’t really have a smell to them and the claim is that they have a natural sweet flavor to them.  I didn’t really noticed that much of a flavor really but it is there slightly.  I love it because unlike other lip balms, I never got a waxy or dull taste to it at all.

They add the right amount of moisture back into my lips and does a pretty good job of locking it in too.  I also noticed that I doesn’t take much for Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balms to heal my dry skin either.  Whether my lips could use some much needed lip balm or not, I still love using them!  Great color and wonderful results!  They make my lips feel really, really soft too!

  1. My daughter uses their lotion and I love it. We also have the sunscreen but I find it’s extremely thick and hard to rub on. Glad to know this is a hit

  2. I’ve tried these before and they are really nice! It looks like the changed the packaging. I like the new look! Thanks for sharing! I love purchasing products from companies I know give back!
