Challenge & Fun Charlie Hope Let’s Go Play CD Review/Giveaway {CLOSED}

I received the opportunity to work with Challenge & Fun on a review and they sent me a copy of Let’s Go Play from Charlie Hope for my use and review.  This is a delighful CD filled with 21 tracks for children that my kids absolutely love!  There are some songs that your kids probably already know such as “Row Row”, “Wheels on The Bus”, or “Ants Go Marching”.  But there are new songs from Charlie and they are all so charming and fun to sing along to!  There is also a story “The Bear Family” that features Charlie’s mom telling the story about “Goldilocks and The Three Bears”. 

Another thing about this CD that I love is that there are also spoken verses or short spoken poems too.  It’s almost like “break time” in between music and it’s a great change for kids that are listening along.  My 5 year old loves “Tiny Tim” because Charlie also adds sounds along with this one!  The way that this CD is compiled together, it’s easy to picture a group of kids sitting at the park listing to her play her guitar and singing while they sing along just like in the album cover!

It may sound strange, but I love Charlie’s voice.  She speaks so clearly when speaking her verses and is very child friendly.  I love it because she’s like a natural when it comes to children’s music and in a way, I think it makes my kids want to listen to her more.  This is the third CD by Charlie Hope and I hope she continues with her music.  I really like the “country” feel to her music (at least I feel it has a country feel to it) and there are a couple songs that sound a little like “pop” that gets my youngest dancing!  All the songs, verses or spoken word tracks are brilliant for kids!
