“Talk about “transforming.” Michael Bay tested the patience of even the most devoted Transformers fan with the second installment of the franchise, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, but the hyperactive director bounces back in energetic form with number three, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. From the long opening sequence (a zany alternate-history reading of the NASA moon program, complete with cameos by John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon) through the predictably extended action climax, Bay is actually on his best behavior. Sure, his taste is as vulgar as ever (is introducing your leading lady via a lingering butt shot part of the director’s personal signature?), but the story line is streamlined and the action is coherent: the constant chop-chop of the fighting sequences in Revenge is gone, replaced by a long-take approach that actually shows us who’s fighting who. Plus, it’s hard to resist a tilting skyscraper that allows the protagonists to slide down its glassy exterior. I know, right?”
“A mysterious event from Earth’s past threatens to ignite a war so big that the Transformersâ„¢ alone will not be able to save the planet. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and the Autobotsâ„¢ must fight against the darkness to defend our world from the Decepticonsâ„¢ all-consuming evil in the smash hit from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg. ”
This is a personal giveaway. I actually have an extra copy and I don’t know what to do with it so I thought I would run it as a giveaway! There is actually somewhat of a funny story as to how I came to own 2 copies of the same movie. Hubby and I were at Walmart and got excited when we saw that Transformers Dark of The Moon came out. We had already seen it of course but there are certain movies we always buy.
Well, we bought it and got home and as I was taking the plastic off the case, I noticed the copy we already bought sitting on my bookshelf! No way, we did not do that! Yep, we did. For some reason we thought we saw it at the movies but instead we saw Harry Potter. We had already seen it because we bought it already!
Anyway, since I had taken the plastic off the case, we couldn’t return it to the store. Most stores have that same policy when it comes to movies, games, ,etc. It is brand new, never watched and it includes both the Blu-Ray copy, DVD Copy, and it has the unused Digital Copy code inside. It just doesn’t have the plastic wrapper since I took it off.
The movie is awesome and of course is a mucst have for the Transformers fan! Sam has a new girlfriend in this movie and once again he has to help save the world alongside the Autobots while humans think the Autobots are the cause of the problems. It’s action packed and I love the Autobot characters. I have heard some say they didn’t like it as well as the other movies but my husband and I thought it was great!
Win It! Like I said, this is my own personal giveaway. One of my lucky DustinNikki Mommy of Three readers will win my extra Transformers Dark of The Moon Blu-Ray + DVD Combo + Digital Copy, still brand new and unwatched (minus the plastic wrapping)!
