MailPix Photo Fleece Blanket, Photo Mug & More Review & Giveaway (Winner’s Choice)

I recently was contacted by MailPix to review some of their products and website and since I have a thing with photo memories and gifts, I was really excited for the opportunity!  MailPix is a great site where you can upload your photos really quick and easy and create your own projects for all of their products.  They even allow you to store all your photos in your account too which I think is pretty great.  You can also click the facebook button or Instagram button to automatically upload your pictures in those accounts too!

What kind of products can you create and order with MailPix?  Below are a couple of ideas.

After you create your free MailPix account either by name and email or just signing in with your facebook account, it’s really easy to upload your photos.  You can upload from your computer, facebook, and Instagram.  Like I already mentioned, you get free photo storage with your MailPix account so you can come back at any time to create a new project without having re-upload anything.  You can always add more photos too.  Hitting the facebook button in the upload photos area, it will automatically upload all your facebook photos as the same with your instagram photos.  You don not have to do this, MailPix just gives you the option too.  When uploading from your computer, your photo folders will pop up and you just choose the photos you want to add.  It doesn’t stop uploading if you jump around from folder to folder either.  Another thing that I like about it is that it shows your uploading progress and even lists each photo too.

When you are ready to start a project, hit the start project button.  There you will choose which product you would like to create.  Or you can browse all products and when you find one you would like to create, you can create it right from there.  The hardest part for me was choosing which products I wanted!

After you have uploaded your photos, all you simply have to do is drag and drop the one you want to choose.  When I did my Photo Fleece Blanket, there was a big box in my blanket project area.  All I simply had to do was drg my photo over (you can see your uploaded photos on the side bar of your work area) and drag it over.  You can only add one photo to the area and you probably notice that there are many pictures on my photo blanket.  What I did was take a bunch of photos that I wanted to use and group them together in my photo software that I have on my computer.  Then I uploaded my collage photo to MailPix and that’s what I used!  That was all I had to do.  You can save all your projects for later and if you want to add it to your cart when you are done, just hit the add to cart button (it also has the price on that button for the project you are working on) and it will go to your cart.  If you save it, you can go back to change it any time you want.

The fleece blanket is really soft and it’s a great size too.  It covers my loveseat.  The photo fits the whole blanket right up to every edge.  The photo print looks amazing too and for being a print on fleece, I think the images look really great!  It is machine washable but is recommended to wash by itself on the gentle cycle with cold water only.  Do not use bleach and tumble dry on low heat.  I love my blanket.  It makes a great decorative throw with all the kids on it and it’s also great to use to cover up with because it’s really warm.  It also comes with a roll up strap too.  In my opinion, it’s a great quality photo fleece blanket and I absolutely love it!

Creating my Custom Photo Mug was just as simple as creating my Fleece Blanket.  In the Mug project area, again you just drag and drop the photo you would like on your photo from one of the ones you have uploaded.  I chose a photo of my hubby and I when we went to a Buckeye football game.  I love how the photo is completely wrapped around the mug!  It’s a ceramic mug and the coating is also glossy.  If you would like to have more than one picture, group a few side by side into one photo and upload it like I did with the fleece blanket.  I’m going to create a few more for gifts with all three of my kids on it for my mom and mother-in-law.  The print on the mug looks really great.  It’s almost like looking at the photo on photo paper!

I of course also ordered quite a bit of photo prints.  I had a bunch that I needed printed.  They are printed on great quality photo paper and the prints look amazing.  They are crisp and I ws really impressed with the way they turned out.  You can also choose glossy or matte finish which I think is great because I always go for the matte finish every time.  It’s less changes for fingerprints to show up on them.

Overall, I love the products from MailPix that I received.  They are absolutely beautiful and I still can’t believe how easy their site is to use!  I would definitely recommend trying out MailPix and ordering from them to anybody.  Everything is also shipped and they take a lot of care in their packaging so if you order something that can be broken, chances are it’s not going to be broken when you receive it.  If you order prints, chances are they won’t be bent at all either!  I love it!
