This was something else I was looking for today. I have an iPhone 3 GS (yes, I have an oldie) and we are getting ready to upgrade our phones. My husband and I have both used an OtterBox Defender for our iPhones because it has three layers of protection and come with a built in screen protector. That’s a must have for me because those adhesive screen protectors? Well, they aren’t for me. The defender has a hard plastic casing that snaps on over the phone with a silicone part that stretches over the whole thing. The silicone absorbs impact force.
The only thing I don’t like is that they are regularly $49.95. The price has appeared to stay the same even with the newer versions. I saw them at the stores at this price as well and not just on Amazon. The other problem with buying them at the stores is that most of the time, the colors they carry are limited. Not only was I looking for a great price on Amazon, I was also looking for more colors. I just ordered one for hubby and myself so we had them when we went to get our new phones.
