Have you ever tried Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain? It’s really good! I like trying to get more whole grains in my family’s diet and this is a great way to do it when it comes to pizza night at our house. Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust has 16g of whole grain and it doesn’t come short of really great taste! I received a package with a new pizza pan, oven mit, food chopper with food storage containers, and a coupon for free Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust.
I have a family of 5 including myself and I don’t know about anyone else but everyone wants something different on their pizza. I love my new food chopper because since everyone likes something different, I can chop ingredients ahead of time and store them in my containers until it’s time to fix dinner. When we have pizza night, we usually make 2 half/half pizza’s. Our boys like pepperoni only, my husband likes sausage and chopped onions and my daughter and I like a little lettuce and tomatos (something like taco pizza).
The pizza pan is awesome because it allows the pizza to bake thoroughly and it doesn’t stick! The oven mit is really great with the silicone gripping.
Back to the crust. Absolutely amazing! We all love the flavor and texture of it. It’s got the right kind of crispyness to the outside of it but bakes really soft on the inside. It’s really easy to prepare. I mean, all you have to do is unroll it. I never have a problem with it tearing or anything and flattens out really great without really shrinking back up when you get it ready on the pan. I like to put it in the oven without anything on it for about 5 minutes (nothing longer than that) just to make sure that it gets baked all the way through without the middle remaining doughy. I only do this because we do tend to put a LOT of toppings on our pizza. If you don’t put that many toppings on yours or not a whole lot of them, you shouldn’t have a problem.
It bakes up to a golden brown color and looks amazing. Usually when baking pizza, I can smell pizza. I obviously still smelled pizza in the oven but I could also smell the crust. Very, very delicious! It’s never dry either, always a moist crust. Every time we make homemade pizza, I usually always pick up some Pillsbury Artisan Crust!
