Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Eye Cream and Lash Serum Duo Review

I recently received the opportunity to try Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Cream & Lash Serum Duo.  If you have never seen this product before, one end is the lash serum which is applied like mascara is applied to your lashes.  The other end is the eye cream.

The claim: “The dual-ended applicator softens the appearance of lines and gives you smoother-looking lids and instantly thicker-looking lashes.”

Eye Cream

When it comes with the eye cream, I will say it works wonders.  I have lines around my eyes and a lot of the time I look like I have “tired” eyes.  It doesn’t matter if I use my eye make-up, you can still see them.  It says to use a generous amount under the eye, on the lids and around the “crows feet”.  When it says generous, it doesn’t mean you have to use much at all.  I usually only use a couple dabs under my eyes.  Probably a dab or two on my eyelids and just a dab around my “crows feet.”  It goes on really smooth, it’s creamy and doesn’t leave the area feeling sticky or anything.  Instantly my skin around my eyes felt softer and smoother.  When it came to the lines, it took a few days before my lines looked less noticeable.  After about a week of using it every day, once in the morning and once at night, I don’t even notice them anymore.  I am really happy with the results!

Lash Serum

The application of the Lash Serum is just like applying mascara.  The other end contains the serum with the brush applicator.  First I have to tell you about my lashes.  I have thin lashes due to the fact that I keep loosing them.  They are brittle and they just fall out.  I can’t tell you how many times I have painfully dealt with a lash in my eye.  I rarely use mascara because of this issue because no matter what kind I use, my lashes never look right because they are so thin.  I think they actually look worse with mascara.  So of course I was thrilled to try this product more for that reason.  With the lash serum, you apply once in the morning and once at night too.  It says twice a day but I just do it that way.

It’s not an instant thing.  Like my lines, it took a few days before I saw any real results.  My lashes became stronger after a few days and less brittle.  I didn’t lose as many lashes either.  I could feel the difference when I touched them after a few days.  I have been using this product for a couple weeks now and I haven’t lost a lash in 4 or 5 days.  I say that’s a miracle for me because it used to be a daily thing for me.  My lashes look fuller and longer and they also look great with mascara now.  They could use a little more help though and I continue to use this product.

Final Thoughts

In my opinion, Olay Eye & Lash Duo does what it claims for me.  I love the healthier look of my eyes, lines are so much less noticeable, and my lashes.  I can’t believe what it did for my lashes.  I absolutely love it.  I also love the fact that I can still wear my eye make-up and mascara after I apply it.  Using it underneath my eye make-up doesn’t mess with the appearance of any cosmetics I use.  I give this product two thumbs up!
