Growing Up Online Free eBook & Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax Blu-ray/DVD Combo #Giveaway

You may have seen those short segments from “The More You Know Learning Series” on NBC.  I see them quite often during commercial breaks or in between shows.  I always find them interesting and I love that NBC does that.  Now The More You Know Learning Series now has a free eBook to help parents to teach their kids about online safety.

We all know that kids spend time on the internet these days and teaching them about being safe and learning about technologies are so important these days.  I remember when I was a kid, the internet just seemed irrelevant to us.  But not so much anymore.  I know my kids even use the internet at school.

Here’s a little about the eBook:  #GrowingUpOnline

Download the FREE Growing Up Online eBook and be sure to watch all four entertaining comic book stories as a family, which show real situations that may occur when your kids go online.

This free eBook provides easy-to-use information that addresses the growing concern about kids’ online privacy and cyberbullying in a unique and engaging way. Growing Up Online is packed with important tips that every parent should know!

Download the eBook below by clicking on it:

Below you can check out the really cool Growing Up Online blog app.   Is your child internet ready?  Take the quiz to see how much they know.  There are also 4 comic books you can view and you can also download the free eBook from there as well.

Guess what else we have for you?  Have you seen Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax?  Well if you haven’t, I recommend it.  It’s really great!  I also have some great news, my readers have a chance to win a copy of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax!

One of my lucky DustinNikki Mommy of Three readers will win a copy of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax Blu-ray/DVD Combo!

Here’s how to enter:

Use the Rafflecopter form below.  It’s as simple as just clicking!  You must complete the mandatory entry before extra entries are unlocked.  See each instruction for each entry.  You must follow DustinNikki Mommy of Three in some way (does not have to be every single way) like Google+, Facebook, NetworkedBlogs, Twitter, etc.  (Google Friend Connect will no longer be available for non blogger blogs soon.)  My GFC still works and I think it’s because my old blogger blog is redirected here.  Feel free to still follow via GFC but make sure you follow in some other way too in case I still lose GFC.  Of course all the ways that you can follow us, are also extra entries too.  See all ways of entries in the Rafflecopter form.  Mandatory entry will require a comment on this post.  If you have any problems with the Rafflecopter form, please let me know by either leaving a comment on this post or by sending me an email and I will take a look at it.

It is no longer necessary to leave your email in your comment since you have to leave your email when submitting your comment for approval.  That way the only person that will see your email will be me.   All entries will be checked and if there are any comments that do not count or qualify as an entry, they will not be counted.

  1. Keep a close eye on them while they are on the internet. Keep the computer in an open central location in the house.

  2. A great way to set boundaries for your kids is to create a separate log in for them on your computer. Not only will it make them have a sense of ownership and “being a grown-up,” but it will also enable you to set search limits, time-outs/time limits, and customized content for your child.
