YochiShoes Baby/Toddler Shoes Review & #Giveaway #ad

Not too long ago, I was contacted by YochiShoes asking me if I would like to review their shoes or socks.  I of course was thrilled for the opportunity!  They sent me a pair of baby/toddler shoes free for my use and review.  These shoes are so adorable!  They also have adorable rattle socks.  They are plush socks that are really comfortable and are made with thick cotton spandex material.  The rattles on them are really cute and they rattle with your little one’s every step.  They are actually interactive socks!  The socks, like the shoes come in four different designs!

What are YochiShoes?  Well, they are made with your child in mind especially when they first start walking.  First I have to say, the Captain Zuga shoes that I received are so adorable that I can’t believe it.  The skull that is featured in both the front and back of the shoes, have bones attached to go along with the cross bones theme.  The little cloth bones are even flappable!  They are made of a cloth-like canvas material and they are padded really well.  During our use, they have never hurt little guy’s feet or ankles.  They are easy to put on with the Velcro strip that goes across the front of them to close them.  The Velcro is pretty strong too which in my opinion is a good thing.  We have had other Velcro shoes that come undone at random before and my kids would walk right out of them.

Look at how cute they are!  One of the features I love about them is that they squeak.  Like the rattle socks, these shoes are interactive too.  Little guy just laughed every time they squeaked!  The first time they did, it did kind of startle him but after he figured out it was the shoes, he really got to moving.  He just started walking too and we found that YochiShoes were a great pair of shoes for him while he was just starting!  They are really flexible when it comes to walking.

Another great thing about YochiShoes is that they do not come in a shoe box!  I was really surprised when our arrived and opened up my package.  Inside, I found our pair of shoes in a cloth-like drawstring bag instead of a shoe box.  Why do I love this?  Because I don’t have a box to throw away and the bag has come in handy.  I use it to separate things in the diaper bag, use it as a carrying sack for small toys, etc.  It’s awesome!  Okay, now back to the shoes.

So I told you that they are flexible.  The soles are rubber-like and bend really easily making walking in them a breeze.  Even though they bend easily, we haven’t seen any breakage in the shoes where the shoe and sole meet together.  The shoes are also breathable, easy to walk, run and get around in.  Even to crawl while wearing them, stand up – you name it.  This boy is everywhere after he started walking!  The tongue of the shoe stays in place which is important to me.  Shoes are uncomfortable when they don’t and we haven’t had a problem in that area.

I also mentioned that they squeak and how much he loves the sound.  The squeaker (where the sound comes out) is visible on the side of the shoe.  They aren’t terribly loud which is nice because then they don’t become annoying.  If you would like to not hear the squeak at all, the squeakers are removable.  He has worn them when the ground has been wet and we have never experienced any wetness or water getting in the shoes.

Other than being the cutest shoes I have ever seen, they are very durable, very comfortable to wear, fun to wear of course, great quality and great for the early stages of walking.  They are also great because with the squeaker, you can hear where your into-everything-walker is!  This mom gives them 5 thumbs up!  Well, that is if I had 5 thumbs!

Buy It:  Visit YochiShoes website to buy them!  A pair of shoes (size 4 up to 10 in baby/toddler size) for $29.95.  Their really cute Rattle Socks are $9.95 and you can get them to match the shoes you buy!

  1. I’m waiting on my first pair of Yochi shoes to come in right now, actually. I didn’t know the squeaker came out of them! Totally exciting. 🙂 We’re also expecting the adorable skull ones you posted, too.
