As a member of Crowdtap, I was given the opportunity to participate in their Hershey’s Spreads sample share. I received a sample jar of Hershey’s Spreads Chocolate with Almond for free to try and share my thoughts about it. The first thing that I have to say about it is that it is absolutely amazing and tastes so good! We tried it on a few different things such as crackers, pretzels, waffles, bagels, and fresh fruit! I think it would be awesome on just about anything!
I used it on my breakfast bagel and our kids used it on their waffles. They made “waffle pizza’s” as they called them. I spread some Hershey’s Spreads on their waffles and they topped their waffles with slices of bananas, strawberries and kiwi. I spread it on my bagel and added bananas and strawberries. It was really, really good. It’s a great chocolate taste without drowning out the flavor of the fresh fruit. I wasn’t sure how easy it was going to spread but to my surprise, it spread pretty easily. It’s really creamy and I love the texture. My whole family loved it. The flavor is with almonds but there isn’t any almond pieces in it. It just has a very slight hint of almond flavor.
For a snack, the kids ate some on graham crackers and strawberries. Goes great with celery sticks as well! Another thing my kids like to eat is a chocolate and banana sandwich instead of peanut butter and jelly. The chocolate is not overly rich which I appreciate and I can’t say enough how yummy it is! Momma has a new way to snack!
