Ology Well Being Household Products Review

As a Moms Meet Ambassador, I received an opportunity to try a few Ology Well Being products.  I received a package in the mail that included a full size package of paper towels, full size all-purpose cleaner, and a bunch of laundry detergent samples for free.  I also received a bunch of brochures with information about the products with coupons to pass along to my friends.  Ology products are exclusive at Walgreens.  What I love about these products are that they are natural and eco-friendly.  Below is a list of the ingredients that are NOT found in these products – this list goes for all of them.

NO-NO Ingredient List

  • Ammonia
  • Chlorine Bleach
  • DEA
  • TEA
  • Parabens
  • Phthalates
  • Formaldehyde
  • Nonylphenol Ethoxylates
  • Triclosan

All bottle are made from 100% post-consumer materials and paper is made from sugarcane husks and bamboo instead of trees.  No harmful chemicals, dyes or artificial fragrances.  They are plant based and no animal testing.  Now onto what I thought about these products!

Ology Paper Towels – I received a package of two rolls.  They are 100% tree free and are made from sugarcane husk and bamboo.  Trees may be a renewable resource but a tree takes up to 35 years to regrow.  So to save trees, sugarcane husks that would just be disposed of and bamboo that can be re-grown in as little as 6 months are used to make these paper towels.  They are whitened with a non-chlorine bleach and best of all, they are biodegradable!  I absolutely love this because I try to limit paper towel usage to a minimum.  Less waste to be thrown in the trash.  Now I feel a little better about using paper towels when I need to because these are biodegradable.

The feel and texture of these paper towels are somewhat between feeling papery and feeling cloth-like.  The packaging says that they are ultra absorbent and I was skeptical when I first took a roll out of the package and felt them.  They do have a quilt-like design with tiny pockets.  I purposely made a mess on my counter so I could see how absorbent they really were.  To my surprise, they were pretty absorbent.  I was really impressed.  When the paper towels are dry, I did notice that they can tear a little easy but they hold up pretty well without tearing while cleaning up messes.  Overall I am pretty happy with them.

Ology All-Purpose Cleaner – This all-purpose cleaner is citrus based.  As stated earlier in my post, there are no harmful chemicals.  This is a natural cleaner spray that works great for kitchen counter tops, stoves and other appliances as well.  I found that it does a great job cutting through grease and grime.  My stove is black and every time I clean the surface, it always looks streaky.  It bothers me for some reason and I normally have to clean it a couple time so that it doesn’t look streaky even though it was cleaned off the first time.  I didn’t really have any issues with that using this cleaner.  I couldn’t get over how well it worked to clean grease and food off my stove.  I always use natural cleaners in my kitchen and as much as I can throughout my house.  Normally I have to go over a couple of areas a couple times with natural cleaners but with Ology I don’t.  It has a light scent to it.  When I first smelled it, it smelled like an off lemon scent and I thought it was kind of odd to me.  But then I saw that it also has lavender in it too.  If you are looking for a safe, natural all-purpose cleaner, I recommend this one.

Ology 2x Laundry Liquid – Both of my boys have issues with scents on their clothes.  I have to wash their clothes in a free & clear formula which this detergent is.  This liquid detergent is clear and there literally isn’t any scent to it at all which is awesome for my kids’ clothes.  For my clothes I like to use something with a scent but not for my kids.  I wash there clothes separate from ours.  Since I use this detergent for my kids I was able to see how well it fights stains.  Anyone with kids know you are going to end up with some pretty tough stains.  I thought it does really well with getting clothes clean.  I also don’t use fabric softener or dryer sheets with my kids’ clothes and my kids’ clothes still came out feeling soft.  Again, another Ology product I am happy about!  This detergent is also HE compatible.

Where to buy:  You can buy these products and the rest of the Ology product line at your local Walgreens.  These products are exclusive to Walgreens and they are also affordable.  You can check out more information by visiting
