The package that I received are Lavender Joy and they smell so good. I could smell them even before I opened the package! They do have a pretty strong scent but after you toss one in the washer, the scent on your clothes isn’t overly powering. The scent is still very noticeable though and my clothes smell so good. The scent is also pretty long lasting too. I can pull something out of the closet or a drawer almost a week later and they still smell great and fresh. When I first got them, I thought the little packs would be filled with a liquid. But it’s not liquid. They are actually a powdery substance.
They are easy to use. You simply just toss one in the wash at the beginning. That is really nice because then I won’t have to forget if it was something that is supposed to go in during the rinse cycle. At first I was skeptical since they aren’t liquid packs. I was worried that they wouldn’t dissolve in the wash. I can honestly say that the pack itself and the powder inside DOES dissolve really well. I have never experienced any residue or anything that was not dissolved on my clothes or in my washer. So they do dissolve really well and I was very impressed with that.
All you need is one pack for a regular load. If you have a large load, you can use two of them. Snuggle Scent Boosters is great for all types of clothing including activewear and sleepwear. One thing I always test out when using a scent booster product is if my towels lose absorbency because it can happen with these types of products. Not with Snuggle Scent Boosters though – at least not in my experience. None of my towels have lost any absorbency. These are also safe for all washers including HE machines.
I don’t see anything on the package or product information about these including fabric softener in them or if they are supposed to help with static. However, after I have been using them, I do notice less static when removing them from the dryer and my clothes are soft almost like they would be if I used a fabric softener. While I was using these, for sake of my review I did not use dryer sheets or fabric softener.
