Walmart Beauty Box – What I Recieved in Mine (Fall) #WalmartBeauty

Some of you may remember my post about the $5.00 Walmart Beauty Box Subscription.  I got my beauty box just a little over a week ago and thought I would share with you what was in my box.  This is a subscription but it’s not monthly.  It is quarterly.  If you sign up you will automatically get a box in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer and it’s $5.00 per box – a flat $5.00 shipped.  You won’t be charged until your box is shipped to you.  You can read the details in my blog post HERE.  That post includes the direct link to sign up or you can skip looking over that blog post and use the direct link to sign up HERE.

This is the Fall 2014 box.  Right now the time has run out for the Fall box so if you sign up now, you won’t get your first box until the Winter box is ready to go.  On the website it says that the next box (which would be the Winter box) will be ready to ship during the week of November 25, 2014.

In my box were 9 samples.  Three of them were tiny samples, three of them were deluxe samples, and three of them were full size products.  I have them all listed below.  I wanted to value this box to make sure it was worth the $5.00 I paid for it – it was in my opinion.  I didn’t value the tiny samples but I did value the deluxe samples which are only approximate values.  I also valued the full size products.  I used the Walmart website for pricing since all these products are available at Walmart and of course that’s where the box comes from.

What’s in the box?

  • Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Makeup (sample card)
  • Loreal Paris YouthCode Pore Vanisher (packet)
  • Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Perfume (vial sample)
  • Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Shampoo (deluxe) $0.50
  • Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture Conditioner (deluxe) $0.50
  • Dove Pure Care Dry Oil (deluxe) $1.50
  • Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant (full size) $7.92
  • Cover Girl Glowing Nights Glosstinis nail polish (full size) $2.97
  • Loreal Paris Glossy Balm in Ginger Candy (full size) $6.97

Total approximate value $20.36

I personally think the box was pretty awesome.  For only $5.00, I thought it was a pretty good deal.  It did include a few tiny samples but that’s okay with me.  There were a few deluxe size ones as well and three full size products that values way over $5.00.  I will try out those tiny samples, the Pink Friday perfume smells really good.  The Dove products I have used before and really like them.

I have been using Secret Clinical Strength for a while now.  I use regular Secret for the most part but there are certain days that I use my Clinical Strength.  My box came just in time too because I was almost out of it.  I love the little Cover Girl Glosstinis.  The nail polish is great.  It coats on really evenly and it definitely shiny or glossy after it dries.  It actually still looks wet after it’s dried.  It holds up well.  I had it on my nails for three days and never noticed any chipping.  Last but not least, I really love the Loreal Paris Glossy Balm.  It’s like a lip crayon but it’s really creamy, it just glides on my lips.  It’s a balm that works great on keeping my lips moisturized.  Sometimes when I just want to use a balm and don’t feel like wearing a lip color, I still want just a slight color.  This balm is tinted and the color is really light and perfect for me.  I really, really like it.

So that was my first Walmart Beauty box.  I can’t wait for the next one!  See below if you want to check out my unboxing video!
