Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea Review @CelestialTea @Influenster #CelestialTea #ad

CandyCaneLane

I am an Influenster and recently I received the opportunity to participate in a new VoxBox program.  The latest VoxBox that I received was the Frosty VoxBox.  I received the box with all the products inside of it free from Influenster for testing and review purposes.  You can see my Frosty VoxBox post here.  One of the items I received in my box was Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea.

I love peppermint teas however, I had never tried Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Tea before so I was happy to give it a try.  In my box, I received a sample package that contained two tea bags inside.  When I first opened it up, I immediately smelled the peppermint/candy cane.  It was a really strong peppermint smell and it smells to good.  These teabags don’t have those string tabs which I thought was different.  I’m used to tea bags having those.  Anyway, one tea bag for an 8oz cup of hot water.

Get your up of water ready.  I heat my cup of water in the microwave or I just get hot water out of my Keurig machine.  Then just drop in a tea bag.  Stir it around in the water.  I left mine sit for about 5 minutes and then with spoons squeezed the tea bag over my cup before tossing it.  The tea smells really, really good.  This is green tea so it is a little different than regular black tea.  I don’t drink a whole lot of green tea so I was really curious about how it was going to taste.

The tea is a really great flavor although I still prefer black teas.  I could taste just a very slight hint of orange.  The peppermint flavor to the tea was really nice however, I wish it had a stronger peppermint taste.  You can definitely taste the peppermint, it’s just not very strong.  I tasted the peppermint more as an aftertaste than anything.  It was really nice though because I could feel the flavor (I know, it sounds weird to say it that way, just not sure how to describe it) going down my throat.  I also had a stuffy nose the first time I had some and it actually helped clear it up for a bit.

It’s a really nice tasting tea even though I wish it had more candy cane flavor to it.  Other than that, I really like it.

Buy It:  Visit http://www.celestialseasonings.com/ for more information.  You can buy a box of this tea at stores like Kroger, Walmart, Giant Eagle and others.  You can use the store locator on their website.  A box is between $4 and $5.

Disclaimer:  I was not compensated for this post however, I received these product(s) complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  All opinions are 100% my own.
