I am an Influenster and recently I received the opportunity to participate in a new VoxBox program. The latest VoxBox that I received was the Frosty VoxBox. I received the box with all the products inside of it free from Influenster for testing and review purposes. You can see my Frosty VoxBox post here. Two of the items I received in my box was the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Eyeliner and Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover.

I love this eyeliner!  It is a Kohl Kajal liner and is very black.  It’s an awesome black.  This eyeliner goes on very smoothly and it actually feels creamy as it glides on.  The pigments are really intense which is a very good thing.  I only need to apply one line across my eyelid.  It glides on so well making it very easy to use.  One thing I don’t like about eyeliners in general is that if you blink your lid too quickly after applying the eyeliner can become smudged easily.  That’s not the case with this eyeliner.  It’s like it’s completely smudge proof.  This could present a problem if you like to smudge your eyeliner under your eye.  You will have to be quick with this eyeliner.  It definitely lasts all day and it is waterproof as it claims to be.  I even watched a movie that made my eyes water a little – okay, I cried a little and my eyeliner was just fine.  Absolutely amazing, I love it!

Now that I had tried my Rimmel eyeliner, it was time to put the Rimmel Eye Makeup Remover to the test.  With the results that I had with my eyeliner, I was actually afraid I was going to have a tough time removing it.  I always have a tough time removing some of my eye makeup but that eyeliner….. When I remove my makeup, I normally use a makeup remover wipe all over my face.  Normally that includes my eye makeup as well.  I tend to spend a lot of extra time on my eye makeup no matter what brand of wipes I am using.

To start, I poured some of the remover on a cotton ball.  Just enough to saturate it but not too the point that it was dripping or anything.  Then I just gently wiped the cotton ball with the cleanser on it over my eye.  The image above is just one wipe.  I couldn’t believe it.  It only took about 3 times to wipe it all away.  It is very gentle and it doesn’t have a smell.  It actually looks like water.  I couldn’t believe how easily it removed my eye makeup!  After I was done, I wiped the rest of my face with a makeup remover wipe and then washed my face.  Took me about 10 minutes less because I didn’t have to spend so much time trying to remove the mascara and eyeliner!

I absolutely love both these products!

Buy It:  You can buy both these products online and at stores such as Target, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. for $5 to $7.  Visit http://us.rimmellondon.com/ for more information.

Disclaimer:  I was not compensated for this post however, I received these product(s) complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.  All opinions are 100% my own.
