My family was thrilled to have been selected for me to host a DisneySide Home Celebrations party through BSMMedia.  I was sent a party kit full of free items to use for our party.  There were tons of stuff that was inside my kit including a Mickey Mouse cake pan, Duff cake mix, decorations, party favors and much more!  At the bottom of this post I will leave the links to my party box opening post so you can check out everything I received and I will also leave a link so you can see my Mickey Mouse cake and how I used the Tie-Dye cake mix and how I decorated my cake.

As most of you already know if you have seen my previous DisneySide posts, I combined our party with our son’s birthday party since both parties were so close to one another.  I bought a bunch of other Disney character party supplies and party favors and I mixed and matched a bunch of characters.  All the kids had a blast and it was a lot of fun.  We even played Pin the Smile on Mickey!  We also had some other activities we did such as a Disney Word Search, Disney Bingo and the kids made gift boxes.  All the activities were provided!

All the Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse stuff arrived in my party kit.  All the other stuff I bought.  This was the party table set up and I absolutely love my cake!  I was actually sad when it came time to serve it.  I also made some cupcakes to go along with it and they feature Monster’s Inc. and Toy Story.  Those luggage tags were a huge hit and my adult/parent guests really appreciated the HP photo paper!

The kids had a lot of fun.  Our son had a few of his friends over and a couple of their parents stayed to hang out which was really nice because that was the first time I had met them.  Our daughter had a few friends over as well so she didn’t have to be stuck with a bunch of boys – but the more the merrier anyway because this was also our fabulous DisneySide party!  The girls split up the Disney nail polish and Palace Pets toys we received and they painted each others’ nails.  We had a few other friends and family over as well so we ended up with a full house.

I thought it was also pretty awesome because one of our son’s friends went to Disney World last summer and we were talking about it and his dad was sharing some tips and advice on cutting corners on some things to save a little money.  Which was pretty cool because in a couple years, we hope to take our trip.  That’s the plan anyway!

I have to give a huge thank you to BSMMedia, Disney and all the sponsors who helped make our party a hit.  I was really fun and we loved showing our DisneySide!
