**“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.”**
Remember my post from not too long ago about the Max 2 Conference Call I received the opportunity to participate in? Well, now that it is over, I can now giveaway a copy of Max 2 White House Hero on Blu-ray! How exciting is that?! You can read more about the conference call HERE. I really enjoyed the conference call. It was a lot of fun! I was invited to watch an escreening before the conference call so that I had already been able to watch the movie before the call.
Here’s a little about Max 2

My thoughts about the movie
We loved the first movie. My whole family did. Our youngest (6 years old at the time) didn’t care for it because, well, he was only 6. The first movie is a great family movie but in my opinion, I think children under the age of 13 probably shouldn’t watch the first one because it was a little more mature. The first one is also pretty emotional. If you don’t know what the first one was about, here you go —> “Max, a precision-trained military dog, serves on the frontlines in Afghanistan alongside his handler, U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott. But when things go terribly wrong on maneuvers, Kyle is mortally wounded and Max, traumatized by the loss of his best friend, is unable to remain in service. Shipped stateside, the only human he seems willing to connect with is Kyle’s teenage brother, Justin. Justin’s growing trust in Max helps the four-legged veteran revert back to his heroic self, and as the pair race against time to unravel the mystery behind Kyle’s death, they find more excitement—and danger—than they bargained for. But they each might also find an unlikely new best friend…in each other.” Quoted from Amazon.
Now Max 2 White House Hero is great for kids of all ages. It would probably appeal more to the younger ages. The movie revolves around two kids and Max who uncover a secret plot to stop the talkings and dealings between the two countries. Since they take it upon themselves to investigate despite their parents telling them they need to leave it up to Secret Service, they find themselves in a bit of danger. It’s definitely suited for the younger audience. The kids get it all wrong a few times but they keep at it and eventually with Max’s help, they figure it out when it’s almost too late.
I thought there was a bit of comedy in it that I thought was funny. The plot doesn’t have much depth to it but I found it enjoyable to watch. It was done really well for the younger audience to follow along and understand the whole plot. In my opinion, I think Francesca and Zane played their character parts well and they do a great job at keeping the younger audience engaged in the story.
