Sample Source Sample Box Product Review @SampleSource #freesample #review

My newest Sample Source sample box arrived the other day! If you don’t know what Sample Source is, it’s a site where you can qualify to receive sample boxes. They normally have a new sample box once per season that can include anywhere from 5 to 12 samples. I think the most I have ever gotten in one box was 11 or 12. This is the April/May 2017 box and I qualified for 5 samples this time. I love Sample Source because it gives me a chance to try samples before I buy.

Signing up is free and you can use the link above to sign up. Just make sure you are on the USA site. Check out my blog post HERE for more details about Sample Source and how it works.

What was in this box?

Method Laundry Detergent – This is a very generous sample size. The bottle I received washes 10 loads of clothes. It is a small bottle for 10 loads but it’s 4x concentrated. The scent is Ginger Mango and it smells really good! It has a naturally derived cleaning power and is also hypoallergenic. It doesn’t take much of this laundry detergent per wash which is pretty awesome. I think it does a good job of getting my clothes clean whether I am washing darks, colors or whites and does a pretty good job of getting everyday stains out. My clothes have a lingering scent to them afterward too.

Breathe Right Nasal Strips – This is a sample that has 2 nose strips inside. I have used these before when I have had nasal congestion and couldn’t breathe very well while trying to sleep. I like them. They open up my nose and work without being uncomfortable.

Trojan Chain Reaction – This is just a little sample packet. Probably one use. Since this is a family friendly blog, I am not going to leave a review. I’ll just include it in the list only.

Bona Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaner – I received a 2 fl oz bottle which is a generous size sample. I can probably get a few uses out of it but then of course we only have a small section of hardwood flooring in our house. A small hallway and laundry room which isn’t much space. But this cleaner is really easy to use. After sweeping or dust mopping your floor, you just mist this cleaner over your hardwood floor. Then mop it up. I found that it doesn’t take a whole lot of this product either. What I like to do is spray my dust mop cloth with it and then clean my floors with the product on the mop. It doesn’t leave my floor sticky, it cleans well and makes my floors a little more shinier. This product is not for waxed floors.

Quest Beyond Cereal Protein Bar – I received a Waffle flavored bar. Protein bars are hit or miss for me. A lot of different brands I have tried just doesn’t taste very well or have a weird aftertaste. When I opened up my quest bar, I noticed the smell. It smelled pretty close to what a waffle smells like. So I took a bit and was really impressed. It does resemble a waffle flavor. It’s sweet but not too sweet and it also has a little bit of a non-sticky glaze over it. It was soft and chewy and honestly it didn’t even taste like a protein bar to me. It has 12g of protein and they are gluten free. If you are watching your carbs you might want to reconsider since it has 17g of carbs. But I liked it. I’ll have to check out some other flavors that Quest offers.

So there you have it. If you want to sign up, there still might be time to receive a sample box before the next one is ready. I’m not sure on that though. But if you sign up you will be at least ready and eligible for the next box of samples. It is not a requirement to have a blog or write a review or blog post. They do send a follow up survey to your email they ask you to take after trying your samples though.

Disclaimer:  I was not compensated for this post. However, I received a free sample box from SampleSource for my use and feedback. All opinions are 100% my own
