Flap Jacked Protein Smoothie With Greek Yogurt

I received a packet of Milk Chocolate. These smoothies come in other flavors as well such as Vanilla Bean and Strawberry Banana. They contain 20g of protein so they are a good source of protein if you are looking to add more protein to your diet. They also contain Omega-3s, high in Calcium, and contains 500 million CFUs of probiotics so they can be helpful to your digestive system too. For more nutrition information you can check them out on their website.

The package suggests using a shaker cup but these can be mixed with just a good old spoon. You just keep stirring vigorously until completely stirred. I don’t know how well it works mixing it this way because I used my own shaker cup. I like the one I have because it mixes anything really well. This smoothie is easy to make. Pour in 8oz of milk into your shaker cup or measure into a glass. You can use more if you want a bigger smoothie but the more you use, the thinner your smoothie will be. You can also use less than 80z of milk if you want a thicker smoothie.

You can use whole milk, 2% milk, or lowfat milk – it obviously doesn’t matter. You can even use a milk alternative. Just use any milk or alternative you normally use. After you poured in your milk, add the packet of smoothie mix. Then either stir and stir or close up your shaker cup and start shaking. If you are shaking, it should only take 10-20 seconds.

Then pour into a glass if you are not drinking it straight out of your shaker cup. 8oz isn’t a lot and I wish I didn’t use such a large glass when I poured it into my glass for a picture. I didn’t even think about it until after I finished my yummy smoothie. Yes, very yummy! First I want to say that it mixed really well. There wasn’t anything that didn’t get mixed at the bottom of my shaker cup or my glass.

Using 8oz didn’t make it really thick but it wasn’t that thin either. It still had a thickness to it and it was really creamy and smooth. Very easy to drink. I was surprised at how well it tasted. It didn’t taste like any protein shake I have ever drank before. I never would have guessed it was a protein smoothie if someone just handed it to me not knowing what it was.

The chocolate flavor was delicious. Just delicious. I used my usual lowfat milk so I don’t know if that makes a difference or not but I thought it was really good. It didn’t have a chalky texture and it didn’t have a weird aftertaste either. I was very impressed!

Buy It: You can buy them online on their website. Visit Flap Jacked to check out their smoothies and other products. They even offer muffins, pancake and baking mixes as well.
