I happen to think that price is great for these products. That’s basically four different products for roughly $7 each. And these are really great products. I love that they are made with botanicals and natural ingredients leaving out the harmful chemicals making them safer to use. And like the claims above, they are pretty affordable.
The Baby Shampoo and Body Wash has a slight citrus smell to it. It’s not strong and it doesn’t linger too long. My youngest (7 year old son) has eczema and seborrhea issues every once in a while. He will go a long while without having any flareups and not bothered by either one. He uses products that doesn’t contain perfumes or fragrances and are formulated for those kinds of issues. He still has flareups every once in a while and when he does, I buy him some gentler baby shampoo and soap to use until his flareups clear up.
He has been having issues with his seborrhea. He has it on his scalp and behind his ears again and since we had these ThinkBaby products, I had him use the shampoo and body wash. And had him use the Baby Lotion after his shower. I don’t believe these products literally cleared it up but I do think the gentler formula helped. It got his hair clean (he doesn’t have much because he liked to keep it really short). The lotion is also great. It absorbs easily and keeps him moisturized.
After his issues cleared up, I had my sister try them because she has a new little one and I wanted to get her opinion about them since she has a new baby. She told me she loved the shampoo and body wash. Says it got her little man clean and it was easy to rinse. Didn’t leave any residue or anything. She was telling me after she used the shampoo and the lotion, his skin was so soft and she couldn’t get over how soft and shiny his hair was. She was pretty happy with it. We didn’t use the Bubble Bath but she did. She says she likes it when shes just giving him a quick bath. She uses the bubbles to wash him. She was glad that it didn’t make way too many bubbles but enough for a baby.
All three of these products are tear free and I know first hand after my son used them himself that they are. Oh, and I have to mention the directions on a couple of the bottles because they are really great. I thought what they said was pretty fun. Directions: “Gently apply to your wet screaming baby’s hair. Rinse thoroughly. Put clothes on baby. Show off to friends.” Is that cute or what?
I really love the ThinkBaby Safe Sunscreen SPF 50+. All three of my kids have been using this sunscreen. Even I have used it myself. Some of those typical sunscreens give my boys a chemical reaction. We haven’t ever been able to pinpoint exactly which chemical it is but we know which ones they are fine with and which ones they definitely are not. I like this sunscreen because I don’t have to worry about those harmful chemicals.
Since we have been using it, I have been really impressed with it. It also kind of has that citrus-like scent to it but it’s just slightly. And it doesn’t linger long. The great thing is, it pretty much doesn’t have a scent at all. We don’t smell like sunblock or sunscreen all day. This sunscreen is creamy and a little thick. At first I thought it would take forever to massage into the skin but I was impressed. It absorbed pretty quickly and really easily.
Even more impressive is that it wasn’t sticky at all. It wasn’t greasy either. Skin even feels soft like you just put lotion on. But you can’t even tell you have sunscreen on. It’s really awesome! It’s definitely waterproof, you can tell. You are supposed to re-apply every 80 minutes which is about the typical time for any sunscreen. I really like this sunscreen. I was very happy with it and loved the results. It protects my kids and even my skin (we all burn easily). No sunburns here!
We love these products!
