Not too long ago I received an opportunity to try out some of Revlon’s new products. I am a member of Crowdtap and received free products mentioned in this post from Crowdtap and Revlon for my use and review. All opinions are 100% my own. I received four products to try out. I received Revlon Photo Ready Pore Reducing Primer, Revlon Photo Ready Brightening Primer, a Revlon 4-in-1 Blending Sponge, and a Revlon Insta Blush. I was so excited to try these products out!
The Blending Sponge is really great. The shape of the sponge allows you to use it comfortably in 4 different ways. Use it to apply makeup, blend makeup, contour, and correct. The triangular shape at the top allows you to easily get to harder areas on your face. Such as under and around your eyes and other narrow areas of your face. It has a flat edge on one side and kind of rounded at the bottom. It even comes with a sturdy case so you can store your sponge in it after cleaning so you don’t have to just throw it somewhere. I think it’s really comfortable to use and it even feels great on my face. Does a great job too.
The Revlon Photo Ready Brightening Primer is great for brightening skin tone tone and evening skin tone out. You can use it alone or under makeup. This primer does a fairly good job with my skin tone however, I don’t have too many issues with my skin tone though. The one I mainly use is the Revlon Photo Ready Pore Reducing Primer. This is more suitable for my needs. It does a great job at minimizing the look of my pores. It’s matte too so if I would rather not apply any foundation, it looks great on it own. It is a primer so if you are looking for a lot of coverage, you might not want to use it alone. I think it does a great job blending with my natural skin tone as well. It feels light on my face and doesn’t feel like I am even wearing any makeup. It does have a little coverage but if I want a lot more coverage, then I will continue with foundation.
Both these primers are not difficult to remove. I don’t have any problems removing while washing my face.
Normally when it comes to blush, I like a light pink or peach color. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this shade or not. The shade I received is Nude Kiss. This blush comes in a stick and it’s a sheer, blendable blush. It’s simple to apply. Apply it where you want it and then blend.
I tend to apply a lot to a small area and then while blending, I blend it out further. That way I can control the color and how much of an area I want the blush to cover. It feels a little creamy while applying but it’s powdery afterward. I thought it blended really well and really easily. This product is not difficult to remove either.
I ended up being pretty happy with this shade. I really, really like it. Even though it looks like a brownish shade, after it’s applied, it looks more like a darker peach shade. I was pretty happy with it! Revlon Insta Blush is great for a contoured or highlighted look as well. Overall, I loved all these products.
