Nano MetalFigs Die-Cast Mini Figurines (DC Comics & Disney) Review

*I received product mentioned in this post for free in exchange for my review and feedback. All opinions are 100% my own.*

Recently I was asked if I would like to review  some Nano MetalFigs. These are so much fun to collect so of course I was more than happy too. Nano MetalFigs are made by Jada Toys and there are a lot of different characters and sets you can get. There’s DC Comics, Marvel, Disney, Harry Potter, and even Spiderman has his own collection. You can even buy WWE figs too.

We were sent a 5 pack of the Disney Nano MetalFigs and a 5 pack of DC Comics Nano MetalFigs for our use and review. Before I get too far ahead of myself, I want to tell you a little more about Nano MetalFigs in general.

About Nano MetalFigs

These figurines are mini figs and they are great for collecting. They are die-cast metal figurines so they have a bit of weight to them. They come in singles, 5 packs and larger and they even have diorama sets you can buy for imaginative play or just a fun way to display your collection.

“A NEW line of collectible 1.65” scale 100% die cast figures, each with that distinctive die-cast feel weighing around 24-30g. Perfect for kids and collectors of all ages. Licenses include DC Comics and many more superhero brands. To see them all, please go to – Available now in either single packs (SRP $0.99), 5-packs (SRP $4.99) and 10-packs (SRP $9.99). Also available are DC Nano Scenes, diorama sets to imaginatively display your figure collections in authentic ways. Each Nano Scene comes with two exclusive figures and additional features (SRP $29.99).”

Disney Nano MetalFigs

I love these figures! Of course I love Disney but these figures are really great. I love the weight and feel of them. They are painted beautifully and I love the details. There are two 5 packs of the Disney characters. We received Pack A. I need to buy a Pack B to go with our collection now. Pack B includes Mr. Incredible, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Sulley and Mike Wazowski.

Pack A includes what you see above. There’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Alice, Kermit the Frog, and Stitch. It’s hard to say which is my favorite but I was really tickled when I saw Kermit in the package. I love Kermit. I used to collect everything I could find that was related to Kermit. The Disney ones happen to be my 9 year old’s favorite of the two packs we received.

DC Comics Nano MetalFigs

DC Comics happens to be my 12 year old son’s favorite. He loves DC Comics and Marvel both. We received Pack A of these but there is also a Pack B (5 pack) as well. Pack B includes Superman, Supergirl, Aquaman, Lex Luther, and Batman.

In Pack A you get what you see above. Pack A includes Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash, Parademon, and Batman. This Batman is in blue and silver. He’s an exclusive Batman. Again, I love the details in these figurines. They are painted beautifully. The paint done on all the figures in both the character packs we received are metallic like and shiny too. The artwork in these figures get an A+ in my book.

Overall Opinion

We love them. I think they are awesome to collect. I found some Harry Potter ones for myself that I now have with my other Harry Potter collectibles. I actually have a collection of replica Harry Potter wands. You can call me a nerd but I don’t care. Anyway, my older son likes to keep his put up mostly. He’s getting more into collecting things these days. My younger son likes to play with them. I think they are great for imaginative play too. The age recommendations are for ages 3 years and older. As a parent I totally agree with this recommendation. There aren’t any small pieces but the mini figures are less than two inches tall.

We love that they are die-cast. The weight is pretty cool. They are sturdy and durable which I think is awesome. My boys have other character plastic figurines (generally speaking) but they aren’t as durable as these obviously because they are die-cast. The paint doesn’t seem to chip easily. These have been banged around, played with and dropped quite a few times and we haven’t experienced any chipping. However, like other die-cast toys and collectibles I believe they will eventually chip the more they are played with over time. It’s almost inevitable. But for now after being played with a few weeks, not a single chip or ding.

I love that the figurines have stands on the bottom of them. This allows for them to easily stand up. The stands are not removable and are actually part of the figurines. I do not mind this at all. I actually love that they aren’t removable so we don’t end up with a bunch of them missing. Again, we love that they are die-cast, the paint and details are amazing, they are fun to play with or to collect!
