Not too long ago I received an opportunity to review Canvas Factory Prints. I was sent a coupon code to order my own free 16×20 Canvas print for my use and review. I was so excited when it arrived at my house. I love it. It’s now my favorite thing hanging in my house! Since I was able to go through the order process myself, I want to share with you how easy it is to order prints through them. Canvas Factory makes it so easy.

When you begin, you click on the Create Your Own button on their website. Then you choose Canvas, Acrylic, or HD Metal like the image above labeled 1. I was ordering a canvas print so I chose Canvas. When you choose canvas, you then have the option to choose you style. I chose the single print rectangle option and then I chose my size, 16×20.

Once you have chosen your style and size, you can then upload your photo. Once it’s uploaded, you can drag it over into the customizing area. It’s really simple to do. You will then see what your photo would look like on the canvas. Once you hit continue, you have three wrap options to choose from.

Gallery Wrap means that your image continues around the edges. Mirror Image Wrap means that the edges will be wrapped with a mirror of your image while leaving your full image centered on the canvas instead of parts of it wrapping around the edges. A colored Wrap also means that your image will be complete and centered on the canvas but will have a solid color around the edges. If you go for that option, you can choose your color.

I went with the Mirror Image Wrap because I wanted my picture to be fully displayed on the canvas and I liked what the mirrored edges looked like. When choosing which wrap, the customizing area shows a work area where it looks like the edges are folded out so you can see what it would look like. You can also move your picture in that space too so you can adjust it the way you like.

Once you are finished choosing your wrap, the next part has effect options if you want any. There’s quite a few options like black and white, sepia, etc. I didn’t choose any effects for mine though. After that, you are finished creating your canvas and you will then proceed to the checkout process after you add your print to your cart. You have the option to sign in, or sign up, or checkout as a guest.

I just checked out as a guest because either way, you will receive an email confirmation for your order and you will also receive an email when your order ships with a tracking number. What I love about their shipping is that it includes insurance and shipping is still only $10. They do have deals quite often for free shipping on orders of X amount.

Ordering with Canvas Factory was super easy. I think the hardest part for me was choosing which photo I wanted to use. I ended up settling on a picture of the kids I took at my mom’s house during this past Christmas. My three kiddos and my two nephews. I love it because the cousins are together in this one. At least the ones on my part of my mom’s side of the family. 

I added the photo directly above so I can try to show you what a 16×20 size looks like.

I was really happy that the back of the print is closed. They add a backing to the canvas which I really appreciate because I have ordered canvas prints elsewhere before that didn’t have a backing and I wished they did. There are wall hangings already affixed to the back of the canvas too. There are actually two of them so you can hand your photo horizontally or vertically depending on your photo.

The canvas is pretty lightweight which is awesome. The wall hanging are easy to hang the canvas with too. I was very pleased when it came to hanging it on my wall. I put it in our foyer area when you walk in the door.

I love the wrapping of my canvas print! The photo itself is centered and complete just like I hoped. I really love the edges. The print reminds me of a gloss and matte hybrid finish. I like it that way because it looks great without being too glossy to have a glare on it and it’s not too matte either. It looks to me like I would be really easy to dust with just a towel when the need arises. 

I love the way the photo looks on the canvas too! I will definitely order from them again. I know my mom would love something like this for Mother’s Day. Canvas Factory also has deals and offers often too. Not too long ago they had a 65% off sale sitewide. Right now they have an Easter sale where you can get 70% off Canvas Prints. Shipping is capped at only $9.95. There is also free shipping on orders over $100 but I still think $9.95 for shipping is a pretty good deal considering there is shipping insurance included.
