Has anyone ever heard of Bubble Pop Bubble Wrap before? It’s bubble wrap with designs! Currently it’s available in Walmart stores across the USA but will also be arriving at Walmart in Canada soon too. Recently I was asked if I would like to try some out and see how many different ways I could use it. I was sent a package with 6 rolls of it in three different designs! There are quite a few different ways we used it. Check them out below!

Packaging and shipping

The first use is obvious for packing and shipping boxes. I don’t know about anyone else but I love popping bubble wrap. I get excited anytime I find some in a package I receive. My family actually “fights” over who gets the bubble wrap. How cool would it be to have a package wrapped with designed bubble wrap? Using it is really easy. The roll contains perforated sections so you can easily tear sheets off it off the roll. Then you can add what you need to your package.

Use it as gift wrap

I have a couple gifts for my dad for Father’s Day. His gifts are collectibles that come inside wooden display boxes. To protect them I decided to use Bubble Pop as gift wrap. That way the boxes had a bit of protection unlike regular gift wrap. Plus, this also eliminated the need for wrapping paper or gift bags. The bubble wrap has the typical bubble texture on the front of it. The backing of it is smooth. I decided to wrap the gifts with the bubbles on the inside. It’s also fun though to have the bubbles on the outside as well. I think it’s a cute way to add some texture to your gift wrap.

It is fairly easy to use it as gift wrap. I wasn’t sure how well it would work but it worked out pretty well. However, smaller gifts seem to be harder to wrap than gifts that are a little larger. The rolls aren’t really long though so I would stick with small to medium size gifts if you want to use it as a gift wrap. You will probably want to use some good scissors if you need to cut it. The sharper and better the pair of scissors, the easier it is to cut.

Use it for crafting

Yes, it can be used for crafting! My daughter actually used some to make herself a little tote bag. It turned out pretty cute too. All she really had to do was fold some of the Bubble Pop wrap in half leaving the top opened. She secured and closed the sides with clear packing tape. Then she fashioned herself some straps and she was set. Her tote bag turned out to be pretty durable too. Although, she doesn’t carry that much in it.

Making Father’s Day cards

Our boys wanted to make their Dad a Father’s Day card and asked if they could use some of the Bubble Pop wrap. We cut out a shirt and tie from the Bubble Pop so they could glue them on the front of their cards. They came up with their own wording on their cards which were inspired by the Bubble Pop wrap. Our older son with the tie card wrote, “Your tie pops!” and our younger son wrote, “Your shirt is popping!” I thought it was pretty cute.

Again, when cutting the bubble wrap, make sure you are using good scissors. I had a dull pair that didn’t work so well and at first I didn’t think I was going to be able to cut the shapes out. With my good pair, I didn’t have any problems. The cutouts from the wrap stayed glued to the front of their cards. They didn’t peel off or anything. After they finished their cards, they found a place to hide them in their rooms until this weekend.

Other ways to use it

There are other ways I used our Bubble Pop as well. We have a couple drawer bins in our refrigerator that we store fruit or veggies in. Any time the drawer is pulled out, the round fruits and veggies roll around. To prevent them from doing that and possibly bruising them, I lined the bottom of the bins with some Bubble Pop. The bubble texture prevents them from rolling around.

I also used some to line a couple of my drawers to prevent the items inside from sliding everywhere. The perforated sections are the perfect size for fun place-mats too. I made some place-mats when we grilled out. That way everyone who was sitting around the picnic table could use one on the tabletop.

Final thoughts

There are so many different ways I found to use this product. It doesn’t have to be used only for packaging and shipping. The designs are fun and colorful. I found it to be pretty useful for a lot of things and it’s really fun!

Buy It: You can buy Bubble Pop at Walmart stores for $5.88. The size of the rolls are 12 inches with 5 feet of Bubble Pop Wrap. Right now there are 4 different designs with more designs to come! Make sure to visit Bubble Pop Fun on facebook!
