Do you know how many times I have put knives in the sink and almost cut myself? I do have a dishwasher but I have to wash my knives by hand because we have some really nice stainless steel knives that need to be washed and dried immediately. So after loading my dish washer, I fill my sink with water and dish soap to wash any knives or left over dishes that didn’t fit in my dish washer.
