HALLU Enchanted Escape Unicorn Bath Bomb (Unicorn Beach) Review

Recently I tried a HALLU Unicorn Bath Bomb and it was the bomb. I received one of these my last Walmart Beauty Box (Summer 2018). You can check out that post if you like. At the bottom of this post I will include some information about the WBB if you are interested. Anyway, this bath bomb was the first product in my box that I tried. It smelled so good even before I opened it up. It has a mixture of mango, peach, jasmine, and vanilla.

These bath bombs include other scents as well. In this line there are other types of products as well. Other than the Unicorn, there’s Sea Salt Citrus (Mermaid), Green Tea Wanderlust (Gnome), and Island Hibiscus (Fairy). The products include fragrances, soaps, scrubs, lotions, and more.

As mentioned before, the sent is a mixture of mango, peach, jasmine and vanilla. It’s a wonderful mixture scents. It is not a strong scent which I happen to prefer. I like mild pleasant scents. They seem to relax me more. Sitting in the tub with this bath bomb was very relaxing!

When I first put it in my bath water, it didn’t fizzle very fast. It was actually kind of slow. I didn’t mind because I was pretty happy it was going to last more than 3 minutes. It’s mesmerizing to watch these things. At first the colors were a light pink, purple and blue. After a couple minutes (the further it got close to it’s center) it turned a bright pink. I don’t know why but I thought this was exciting.

Colors of Bright Pink and Blue

The bright pink started flowing out turning my bath water pink instead of the very light pastel colors. At this point it started fizzling a little faster. Then we hit the bright blue. The bright blue color was mixing with the bright pink. It started to look like my bath water was galaxy water.

My photos don’t do it much justice but in the end my bath water was a very pretty dark purple.

Final Thoughts…

At first I was a little disappointed because I am like a kid, I wanted pretty colors. In the beginning I wasn’t sure if I was going to get pretty colors. That’s why when it started turning bright pink and bright blue, I got excited. I know, strange thing to get excited about. This bath bomb lasted a lot longer than other bath bombs that I have used. By the time it was used up and completely fizzled out, my bath water was lukewarm. It lasted probably about 10 minutes.

I am happy to say that this bath bomb does not stain. It didn’t stain my skin anywhere at all. It didn’t stain my bath tub either. Our bath tub is plastic so I am not sure how well ceramic would hold up against the colored water. But it didn’t stain my skin at all so there’s that.

I can’t tell you enough how much I love the scent. It’s very relaxing and I honestly almost fell asleep in my bath tub. I love how soft and moisturized it made my skin feel. I am so very happy with it! I bought a few others to try out shortly after using this one. Love them!

Buy It: You can buy these bath bombs at Walmart for $2.97 each.

A little info if you are not a WBB subscriber

I have been getting the Walmart Beauty Box for a long time now. It’s a subscription but it’s not every month. It’s only every three months or once per season. There’s a box filled with samples and sometime full size products that kind of go along with the season. It’s only $5 per box (that’s including shipping). You can choose Trendsetter, Classic or Natural (I believe, it’s been a while since I signed up) and you can also fill in your own beauty profile.

From what I have seen, a lot of the samples and products are similar in all boxes but some boxes do include different products from others. You can read more about how it works HERE. You can also check out my previous posts about this box HERE as well. If you would like a direct link to sign up, sign up at Walmart Beauty Box by using that link.
